Lovely Abella confirmed that the team from Hello, Love, Again has reached out to her for her to be part of the sequel.

In an interview in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on August 23, Lovely revealed: "Kasi kaka-message lang sa akin ngayon nag-inquire ngayon lang talaga. As in pinagpe-pray ko na sana makasama pa rin ako sa [movie]."

She went on: "Pero if ever man hindi [ako kasama] I understand kasi siyempre nagbabago ang kwento. Pero alam mo 'yung feeling na nandun ako sa simula, praise God na nakasama na ako dun sa simula, and ngayon nag-inquire [sila]. Available ang date ko," she relayed.

Lovely played the role of Gina Mariquit in Hello, Love, Goodbye in 2019. Gina is an Overseas Filipino Worker in Hong Kong who became one of the friends of Joy (Kathryn Bernardo).

When asked how it was working with Kathryn and Alden Richards in Hello, Love, Goodbye, Lovely has nothing but good words for the two lead stars.

"Grabe unexpected  na si Kath na sobrang sikat pero 'pag nakausap mo hindi mo nafe-feel na alam mo 'yung super humble. Walang naging problema kasi pareho sila ni Alden," she said.

Back in March this year, the Hello, Love, Goodbye cast were reunited at the birthday of Kathryn in Palawan.

"My Ga namin!! Happy birthday we love you so much!! @bernardokath," Lovely wrote on her Instagram page.

In September 2022, Gina alongside Kathryn, Maymay Entrata, Kakai Bautista also had a reunion.

"Ang tagal bago tayo nagkita-kita ulit, dami nating kwento at tawanan pero isa lang ang napansin ko kagabi lahat tayo ay di pinabayaan ni LORD, lahat tayo ginabayan at ang friendship natin," she posted on Instagram in 2022.

She added: "Salamat sa inyo dahil isa kayo sa mga iniingatan kung kaibigan. Tulad ng sinasabi ko mamahalin ko kayo FOREVER!! #rawr."

Hello, Love, Again is set the be released in November this year. 

The sequel will follow the story of Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan (Alden Richards), this time in Canada.
