I always thought you deserved the best. That you deserved the world. But I realized that you are far too beautiful for this world, JM. We do not deserve you. Habambuhay.”</p><p>Last March, the family celebrated JM’s supposed 18th birthday. Theater actor Jerom Canlas, their eldest brother, penned a message in his memory.</p><p>“Maligayang kaarawan, kulit! 18 ka na. Opisyal na puwede ka na sanang sumama sa kalokohan,” Jerom wrote. “Miss na miss na kita. Araw-araw pa ring masakit. Noong mga nakaraang taon, lagi akong wala tuwing kaarawan mo. Pero bumawi si kuya ngayon! Ang dami naming ginawa para sa’yo at ako ang pinakatumutok sa pag-organize ng lahat. Sayang, ikaw naman ang wala.
