Carlos Yulo will receive various monetary rewards and incentives from private companies and the Philippine government following his double Olympic win in Paris.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the Filipino gymnast shared what he intends to do with the financial rewards he will be receiving.

"I am going to save it and invest also," he relayed.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist pointed out that he wants to manage it wisely as he is aware that his time as a gymnast is limited.

"I'm not a forever athlete po. I have to take care of my personal life also and balance it also," he remarked.

Carlos also wants to give back to the gymnastics community in the country and provide support for aspiring athletes.

"And of course, share it sa mga bata po na gustong mag-gymnastics," he stated.

Following his Olympic win, Carlos is set to receive a ₱10 million cash incentive from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) as mandated by Republic Act 10699 or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act.

He will also receive a ₱3 million cash reward from the House of Representatives.

The Filipino gymnast will also be getting a fully furnished three-bedroom condominium valued at ₱32 million from Megaworld Corporation. The real estate giant is also gifting Carlos a ₱3 million cash bonus.

Bounty Fresh Group Holdings Inc. and Chooks-to-Go will also be giving Carlos a ₱3 million reward.

Carlos clinched his first Olympic gold in the men's artistic gymnastics floor exercise finals on Saturday, August 3.

He won his second gold medal in the vault finals on Sunday, August 4.

"God is really great. I am so blessed by Him. I am well-protected and guided po sobrang thankful and grateful sa Kanya na hindi niya kami pinabayaan lahat," Carlos said after winning his second Olympic medal in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

The athlete also expressed his gratitude to Gymnastics Association of the Philippines President Cynthia Carrion for supporting him on his journey.

"Grabe po 'yung trust and 'yung pagbilib and paniniwala niya po sa akin. Grabe may tao po talagang naniniwala sa kakayanan ng katulad ko po kaya sobra akong nagpapasalamat sa kanya," he said.

The athlete added: "Lahat po ng obstacles nandun si ma'am Cynthia, siya po 'yung tumayo bilang mother talaga 'yung turing ko sa kanya. Grabe 'yung pag-alaga niya sa akin, phenomenal po. I am so grateful and blessed na pinakilala siya sa akin ng Diyos at pinakilala ako ng Diyos sa kanya."
