<p>SEVENTEEN member Jeonghan will start his mandatory military service this September. He is the first member of the K-Pop group to enlist in the military.</p><p>The K-Pop star&#x27;s agency PLEDIS Entertainment, made the announcement on Weverse on Thursday, September 12.</p><p>&quot;We wish to share the news of Jeonghan&#x27;s upcoming enlistment into the military, scheduled for September 26, 2024,&quot; the agency wrote.</p><p>&quot;As announced before he will not be able to take part in the promotional activities for SEVENTEEN&#x27;s 12th mini album and the world tour. They will be bringing the tour in the US, Japan, and in various parts of Asia.</p><p>The K-Pop group previously stage their <em>FOLLOW Tour</em> in the Philippines last January in Bulacan.</p><p>In June, SEVENTEEN was appointed as UNESCO&#x27;s first Goodwill Ambassador for Youth.</p><p>As ambassadors, SEVENTEEN will take part in UNESCO&#x27;s awareness campaigns and events, promoting its values and initiatives through their performances.</p>
