EXCLUSIVE: ‘EXpecially For You’ searchee Oliver Moeller shares preparations for entering showbiz

<p>After his trending guest appearance in It’s Showtime’s segment EXpecially For You, the sporty lawyer from Cebu, Oliver Moeller, has opened the doors to entering the showbiz industry.</p><p>In an exclusive interview with <a href="http://push.abs-cbn.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>PUSH</em></u></strong></a>, the lawyer-turned-celebrity shared how it was fate that led him to enter the limelight.</p><p>“Growing up, it was never really my dream, you know, like you thought about it,” he said. “People came up to me and offered it.”</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/Oliver-Moeller-1.jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>“I guess what happened to me was that the stars just aligned. I never planned for any of this to happen. I was invited by the producers of Showtime and EXpecially for You. One thing led to another, and now I’m here,” he added.</p><p>Being a lawyer, Oliver admitted that showbiz was a totally different world for him. He realized he still has a long way to go to know the inside workings of the industry. Nevertheless, he looks forward to learning from those who came before him as he believes that learning from people walking the same path as he is taking is helpful.</p><p>“What I’ve observed with people who are very good at acting is they’re just willing to immerse themselves, which is something I learned in law school. Oliver Moeller feels overwhelmed after receiving attention online</u></strong></a></div><p>Oliver is also confident that his profession as a lawyer would also be helpful in connecting with people, which is an essential tool to a celebrity.</p><p>“It&#x27;s a completely different industry to what I’m used to, the legal and the distance industry. But I have to say, based on my past professional experience, just being able to converse with people and just to connect with people at different levels, different types of people, it’s really helped me,” he said.</p><p>Oliver is currently doing acting workshops as well as hosting events while managing his businesses in Cebu. He also became an ambassador for some products and companies, which contributed to his already packed schedule even before his acting debut.</p><p>When asked how he manages his time, Oliver said that it has already become his habit to plan ahead. </p><p>“I just plan things out. Usually the week before, I already have the rest of the week planned. I know that there’s a lot of workshops, a lot of education that has to go with that,: he acknowledged.</p><p>With exciting plans and goals ahead, Oliver also shared which artists he dreams of working with.</p><p>“If ever I do end up doing that, I mean who wouldn’t want to work with A-listers, the likes of Piolo Pascual and Kathryn Bernardo,” he shared. “ They’re the top of the top, idol ng lahat.”</p>
