‘Hello, Love, Again’ teaser reaches 2.9 million views one hour after its release

Star Cinema released the official teaser for the upcoming movie Hello, Love, Again.

Starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, the teaser showcases the lives of Joy and Ethan as they navigate life apart from each other.

We see glimpses of Joy's life in Canada while Ethan is in Hong Kong.

"Ilang ba-bye pa ba 'to? Excited na akong makarating sa future na kasama ka," Ethan told Joy via video call.

Halfway through the teaser, we see them being reunited in Canada. But fans were puzzled as towards the ending of the clip, we see the two characters seemingly distant from each other.

"Joy is gone," Joy said as she insists that she will be called Marie.

"Magpapatuloy pa ba? O tatapusin na?" said the teaser.

Fans online were quick to react to the teaser.

"Excited for this!" one fan commented.

"The 'Joy is Gone' attack is different, you will just ask what happened to Joy? Why doesn't he want Joy anymore? Why is it Marie now? Will Ethan bring back Joy's vitality and happiness??" one fan wrote.

According to Star Cinema, the teaser gained 2.9 million views after one hour of its release. "Thank you for bringing love back to our Ethan and… ay wait, it’s Marie na pala 😭," the film outfit posted on social media. 

Hello, Love, Again is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie Hello, Love, Goodbye.

Kathryn and Alden wrapped up filming the movie last August in Canada.

"Ang dami kong gusto malaman—kumusta si Joy? Is Ethan okay? Nag-survive ba 'yung LDR (long-distance relationship) nila? Kamusta 'yung buhay niya sa Canada? Nagawa niya ba 'yung dreams niya? Hello, Love, Again will provide all the answers to my questions, and to all our questions, hopefully," Kathryn said in the press conference last May on what she was looking forward to in the sequel.

Meanwhile, Alden remarked that the movie was a dream come true for him.

"Hinintay ko din siya. After seeing the film over and over again, 'yung pangarap na ‘yon nasa puso ko lang in the past five years. So, finally nga, eto na nga, dreams come true talaga," the actor said.

Hello, Love, Again is the first film collaboration between Star Cinema and GMA Pictures. It will be released in cinemas on November 13.
