Actor and director John Prats took a sweet trip down memory lane as he marked the tenth-year anniversary of his viral wedding proposal to wife, actress Isabel Oli.

On his social media page, the actor wrote a message recalling how Isabel’s "yes" changed his life for the better.

“10 years ago today, I got down on one knee and asked the love of my life to spend forever with me. I still remember that moment like it was yesterday, the butterflies in my stomach, the way my heart raced, and the overwhelming joy when you said ‘yes,'” John recalled.

“That single word changed my life in the best possible way,” he added.

The actor then shared how wonderful their married life is, especially now they are blessed with their three kids named Feather, Forest and Freedom.

“Since that day, we’ve built a beautiful life together, facing every challenge, celebrating every victory, and creating countless memories. I’m forever grateful to have you by my side through every high and low, always loving, supporting, and believing in me,” he continued.

He then expressed his gratitude to Isabel, saying, “Thank you for being my partner, my best friend, my greatest love, and the most amazing mother to our children.”

“I couldn’t imagine this journey without you. I love you more than words can say, and I’m excited for all the adventures and moments we’ll continue to share,” he added.

John ended his message with a promise of a lifetime to Isabel.

“Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless memories. To God be the glory! I love you, wifey @isabeloliprats ❤️,” he expressed.

Isabel also shared in her Instagram story Jason Derulo's song, "Marry Me", which John used in his proposal way back then.

In 2014, John made a surprise flash mob proposal to Isabel at the Eastwood Mall where family and friends had joined the actor in asking for Isabel's hand.

In a previous interview, John shared that he planned the whole proposal over two months.

Before two months, before I planned everything nagpaalam muna ako to them kasi baka mamaya hindi naman ako approve sa kanila tapos I was planning so kaya ang sarap gawin kasi everyone is really okay. My family and her family sobrang excited and naramdaman or pag napanood naman niyo you will really feel the support of the family.” he said in an interview in 2014.

He also revealed that the flash mob concept was actually his own choice and said that the challenging part was finding hundreds of people to execute his plans.

“Sabi ko sa kanila, ‘Please, para mag-work ito, hindi tayo pwede mag-tweet, hindi tayo pwede mag-Instagram’ kasi ayaw ko makatunog 'to. Si Isabel pa naman ang galing sa Twitter,'" he shared on how discreet they were planning the proposal.

“Siguro effort talaga and siguro dahil sa love kaya hindi ako na-stress kasi it was all for her and it’s hard but it is all worth it,” he said in another interview.

In May this year, the couple also celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary where they both wrote heartfelt messages to each other.

“9 years 💍👰🏼🤵‍♂️ I give God praise for bringing us together and seeing us through the years. We are growing closer to Him and one another because of His direction, your patience, and your commitment. I loved you yesterday, I love you now, I always have, and I always will, Cuff,” Isabel said as she shared some nostalgic photos of their wedding day.

John wrote on his part: “Wow! Ang bilis ng panahon, Cuff. 9 years wedding anniversary na natin. Salamat at lagi kang andiyan para sa amin ng mga little Pratties. I love you so much. Gagawin ko po ang lahat para maging mabuting asawa. Cheers to forever.”
