Bela Padilla recounts when she first met boyfriend Norman Bay

<p>Bela Padilla shared that she first met her boyfriend, Norman Bay, in Switzerland in 2017 when she was shooting a movie project.</p><p>&quot;Nag-shooting kami ng <em>Meet Me in St. Gallen</em><em> </em>so na-meet ko siya sa St. Gallen sa Switzerland,&quot; she revealed in the latest vlog of Ryan Bang.</p><p>The actress relayed that Norman was taking his college degree at that time in the European country. &quot;Nung time na &#x27;yun nag-bachelor&#x27;s degree [siya].&quot;</p><p>They met in a bar that time when the team of her movie had a cast party. </p><p>&quot;Last day ko ng shooting, nasa labas sila nung kaibigan niya, sakto kami may cast party,&quot; she recounted. &quot;Nasa bar kami kasi last day namin eh. Nandun sila ng kaibigan niya kasi last day ng exam so uminom din sila to celebrate. Tapos sila lang &#x27;yung tao, walang tao kasi mag-papasko na eh... Nag-date kami 2020 na. Barkada muna kami.&quot;</p><p>They were in constant communication for years. &quot;Lagi kaming magkausap kasi umuwi na ako ng Pilipinas. Text lang na, &#x27;Uy kumusta ka na?&#x27; Chika-chika.&quot;</p><p>Bela shared that they decided not to date since they live in different countries and they were pursuing their respective careers at that time. &quot;Hindi kami nag-date kasi inisiip ko artista ako sa Pilipinas. Hindi naman ako titira sa Switzerland, nagtatrabaho ako. Ocular &#x27;yun, tinulngan niya ako maghanap ng locations so &#x27;yun, nagtuluy-tuloy na.&quot;</p><p>On how she would describe their relationship, Bela shared: &quot;Kami ni Norman kasi wala kaming pinag-aawayan. Minsan iniisip ko parang too steady. Very, very steady. Okay naman. Pagtumatanda ka siguro gusto mo ganun na, &#x27;yung steady lang.&quot;</p>
