Angelina Jolie plans to spend time in Cambodia once her kids turn 18

<p>Angelina Jolie revealed that she&#x27;s planning to spend more time in Cambodia when her children turn 18 years old.</p><p>&quot;I grew up in this town (LA). I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,&quot; she shared in an interview with <em>The Hollywood Reporter.</em></p><p>The actress continued: &quot;When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles,] I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. Don’s an extraordinary man. He’s still around, and he’s become a friend and he’s amazing in what he’s seen. I would love to spend time and trace his steps and maybe learn more. I’m a terrible student. If I have to just read something, I don’t get it at all. My sons were there and they helped lock the door so that nobody else was coming in, and I was shaky. Pablo, in his decency, started me in a small room and ended me in La Scala. So he gave me time to grow,&quot; she relayed.</p><p>On how she was able to relate to her character, Angelina shared: &quot;I related to the part of her that is extremely soft and didn’t have room in the world to be as soft as she truly was and as emotionally open as she truly was. I think I share her vulnerability more than anything.&quot;</p><p>The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on August 29 and is set to be released on Netflix in the US.</p><p>Angelina stars in the movie alongside Kodi Smit-McPhee, Pierfrancesco Favino, Valeria Golino, and Alba Rohrwacher.</p><div><br/></div>
