Arjo Atayde added another feather to his cap after he won the Best Lead Actor in a TV Programme at the ContentAsia Awards 2024 for his performance as Anton dela Rosa in Cattleya Killer.

The awards ceremony was held in Taipei, Taiwan on Thursday, September 5.

Cattleya Killer is an ABS-CBN International Productions series produced by ABS-CBN Studios co-produced with Nathan Studios. The series was directed by Dan Villegas.

As per its IMDB, Cattleya Killer follows the story of "the son of the cop who cracked an old serial killer becomes the prime suspect when a copycat emerges."

"Thank you to everyone. I'm forever indebted to all the actors that I work with [and] to the people behind the camera," Arjo remarked in his acceptance speech.

He went on: "It's my first time in Taipei and this is such a reward for our first time here. And last but not the least my family. Thank you so much to my family for supporting me so much. To my wife who understands so much of the hard work that we have to pull through to be able do this."

The actor also extended his gratitude to the ABS-CBN management and to the Filipinos for supporting him.

The six episodes of Cattleya Killer is now streaming on Prime Video in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other territories.

Fans online were quick to congratulate Arjo.

"Well deserved, congratulations Arjo," one fan said.

"No doubt of how brilliant he is as an actor! Congrats idol!" another fan wrote.

Aside from Arjo, two more programs from ABS-CBN also won at ContentAsia including Zoomers being the gold winner for the Best Asian Short Form Series category and A Very Good Girl for winning bronze for the Best Asian Feature Film.
