Billy Crawford reveals he wasn’t at Coleen Garcia’s side at birth of their second child: ‘Hindi na umabot’

<p>Kapuso actor and host Billy Crawford revealed that he wasn’t present at the birth of his second child, Austin, with wife Coleen Garcia. Everything didn’t go as planned as Coleen didn’t reach the pool when she gave birth to Austin who was an en caul baby (born with an intact amniotic sac).  “Sobrang bilis ng pangyayari kasi yung unang text ng pinsan ni Coleen sa akin, sabi niya ate is going into labor. 12 to 24 hours pa yan, okay. Few minutes later, ate gave birth. Yun yung di ko alam kung ano gagawin ko but I just feel so happy, so blessed,” he said.</p><p>Unfortunately for the Kapuso actor, he was still on his way home when this was all happening and he wasn’t there when his wife gave birth to their second son. </p><p>“Itong pangalawang beses, hindi na siya umabot sa pool. Actually, pati ako hindi na umabot. I wasn’t there when Austin was born. I was on the airplane on my way back home,” he shared.</p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2022/4/28/fresh-scoops/coleen-garcia-flaunts-fit-body-in-amanpulo-199824"><strong>LOOK: Coleen Garcia flaunts fit body in Amanpulo</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>He then jokingly shared how their eldest child, Amari, would tease him everyday as he didn’t make it back home in time. Despite this, he expressed how happy he is as both Coleen and Austin are both safe.</p><p>“Si Amari, hindi niya ako tinantanan. Araw-araw niya ako sinasabihan na you weren’t there when Austin was born. Kaya masakit. Masakit mag salita yung anak ko but you know it was such a blessing,” he added.</p><p>Meanwhile, Billy expressed how excited Amari is to be an older brother to Austin. Their first born would wash his hands meticulously with alcohol before touching their newborn child. </p><p>In the same interview, the Kapuso star is grateful towards his wife who he gives credit for as she “sacrificed” her life for their family.</p><p>“That woman has given up everything. Sacrificed her entire life for our kids and for me especially. Yung support system ko, I have to do and be more for her and for them,” he ended. </p>
