It has been just a week since the KathNiel-starrer “2 Good 2 Be True” premiered, but the show has already brought loads of good vibes. We collated 15 scenes from the rom-series that had us laughing via this Kapamilya Toplist.

We begin with the robbery scene where Eloy (Daniel Padilla) had to pretend as a Japanese national to escape the security. The group of con artists aka “4 na itlog” composed of Eloy, Ays (Matt Evans), Red (Yves Flores), and Tox (Gillian Vicencio) successfully stole the money from the target Tara (Jenny Miller), who once victimized Tox’s father Mang Ben (Earl Ignacio), as their way of getting justice.

The only problem is that someone holds the key to their possible arrest. Nurse Ali (Kathryn Bernardo) remembers Eloy's scent after their slight encounter at the crime scene. Ali had viewers giggling when she went to Captain Rosales (Cris Villanueva) at the police station to report the suspect. But since the smell is her only clue, she had a hard time describing the suspect’s face to the artist. She volunteered to complete the sketch and ended up with a super funny drawing.

Ali got her hopes up when Lolo Bart (Bodjie Pascua) caught the suspect’s face in a selfie taken at the hotel. Eloy learned about the photo when he visited Mang Ben in the same hospital where Ali works. So, the “4 na itlog” hatched a plan. Red snatched Ali’s phone, deleted all the content, and paid a street kid to return it to her.

Ali rushed to Captain Rosales to deliver some good news but to her surprise, her phone’s content was swept. The best solution was to ask Lola Bart to send the photo again. Well, Eloy was smart enough to discard the old man’s phone before Ali was able to retrieve the photo. In the next scene, Lolo Bart accidentally dropped his phone onto the toilet bowl. Ays picking up the phone from the bowl and reporting at the headquarters about his heroic act will surely make you laugh.

The pilot week also established Eloy and Ali’s fun dynamics with their families. There was a scene where Margie (Gelli de Belen) and Pat (Bianca de Vera) soothed Ali’s bad mood with their jokes and by inviting her to do their Korean-inspired skincare routine.

From Eloy’s side of the family, his Lola Heart (Irma Adlawan) had us smiling when she thought he was going on a date with Ali. In that scene, she heard Tox and Eloy talk about the latter’s plan to return Ali and Margie’s stolen money. Mang Ben butted in, saying Nurse Ali and Eloy will look good as a couple. Then, Heart, supportive of her son’s love life, convinced him to dress better and wear his new perfume.

Ali and Eloy are our newest rays of sunshine! And we can’t wait to see more of their cute banters in “2 Good 2 Be True,” shown weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
