“2 Good 2 Be True” stars credit KathNiel for their strong family-like bond on the set

And it turns out KathNiel contributes a lot to the whole team’s off-cam rapport.During a regional media conference, the cast members – Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, Matt Evans, Alyssa Muhlach, Pamu Pamorada, Gillian Vicencio, and Bianca de Vera – shared about the real-life bond that ties them together.It felt close to “love at first sight,” described Bianca, the youngest, who manages to charm senior stars Gelli de Belen and Cris to some TikTok collabs. “You just feel so safe with them and you feel so at peace. It’s so refreshing to work with people like them na full of wisdom,” she said of the instant feeling of belongingness.From the perspective of the more experienced actors Cris and Romnick, work attitude is a big factor why they all clicked. Everyone is easy to work with; Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla set that kind of mood. Basically, if the torchbearers are sincere, cordial, and caring, then it encourages togetherness on the set.“I admire the way DJ actually leads the pack. ‘Yung tropa nila masaya ‘yung samahan, maganda ‘yung samahan. ‘Pag may probema, nagtutulungan sila, nakikita ko… Pero I see DJ taking care of them. Siya ‘yung tumtayong kuya doon kahit hindi siya ‘yung pinakamatanda. He takes responsibility,” shared Cris. Romnick seconded, “He’s a very simple man, napakasarap kakwentuhan.” They added that Kathryn also takes care of the girls.Although superstars of their generation, Kathryn and Daniel are inclusive co-actors, making everyone feel at home in the bubble. It also helps that they’re all friendly individuals.“There is a relationship that is more familial to us. ‘Pag magkakasama kami, daig pa namin ang magkakapatid – kulitan, tambayan minsan. ‘Yung oras namin sa mga standby tents namin at doon sa aming hotel, inuubos namin sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa isa’t isa… Wala kasing mahirap kasama, walang mahirap kausap. Lahat enjoy,” revealed Romnick.“Lahat ng masasaya, lahat ng katatawanan, nangyayari din sa totoong buhay. Nakaka-engganyo to be with them. We look forward to seeing each other na parang family na rin,” Cris added.Learning from each other, especially about acting, is also a form of bonding for the cast. Alyssa mentioned that even veterans like Ronaldo, or Tito Ron to them, are very open to new ideas.“We all learn from each other. Kahit si Tito Ron, minsan tinatanong niya rin kami about sa mga scenes, so nakakatuwa lang kasi parang iisipin mo for sure wala na silang male-learn.
