The gorgeous Alyssa Muhlach might often be caught rolling her eyes and acting serious as Jill in <a href="http://ent.abs-cbn.com/2good2betrue">2 Good 2 Be True</a>, but in real life, she’s bubbly and candid. Proof is her recent guesting on Kapamilya Confessions where she played “This or That” Challenge and answered questions sent in by netizens.In the challenge, Alyssa revealed her penchant for adventures by choosing hiking over swimming since there’s fulfilment when you’re atop the mountain. Although she values her alone time too, she misses bonding with friends. She’s more of a dog person than a cat lover, and would rather wear shoes than heels. She’d rather skip breakfast than dinner. The stunner likes her hair long and she’d rather have no sleep than no shower.Sorry, boys but Alyssa’s priority now is career over love life. Alyssa chose Kathryn Bernardo over Daniel Padilla because they’re the ‘chika’ buddies on set. She prefers comedy to horror and drama.Her preference for comedy is most likely why she auditioned for <a href="http://ent.abs-cbn.com/2good2betrue">2 Good 2 Be True</a>, apart from the chance to work with her favorite loveteam, KathNiel. Alyssa was admittedly nervous during the audition knowing that many others were vying for the role, thus relieved and excited when she got the call.“Nasa gitna ako ng mall n’un tapos sumigaw talaga ako sa sobrang saya ko because I’m also a KathNiel fan and sila talaga ‘yung pinapanood ko growing up. So, it was something that made me so happy na malaman kong I’m part of the show,” recalled Alyssa. She was at the mall to have dinner with her mom, who was basically the first person to know about her role.Her character Jill might be annoying sometimes due to her slight competition with Ali (Kathryn), but she also has good traits like being a dreamer and a hard worker, which Alyssa can relate to. Viewers must watch for Jill’s growth as the narrative progresses, that is, if she grows into a good or bad person. Some fans are also curios if Jill is going to get a love interest in the story. That would be exciting, right?Like many other rookies, Alyssa looks forward to learning from the more senior stars. Fortunately, <a href="http://ent.abs-cbn.com/2good2betrue">2 Good 2 Be True</a> has the likes of Ronaldo Valdez and Gloria Diaz in the cast. She also learns a lot by listening to Kathryn’s experiences and acting tips collected since was 6.For Alyssa, veterans only appear intimidating because of showbiz stature but in reality, they’re easy to be with, “’Pag nakasama mo sila sa eksena, they will really support you. Talagang suportahan kayo, hindi ‘yung bahala ka na diyan. Talagang they will really talk to you about the scenes.”The lock-in setup is a big help in growing the camaraderie among cast members. Among her closest co-stars are Pamu Pamorada and Via Antonio, and altogether they’re called the ‘Marites’ of Lolo Hugo (Ronaldo Valdez)’s mansion.Alyssa is grateful that acting is both her passion and job.
