Joshua 'inspired' by Julia's ABS-CBN Ball preps

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/advertorial/09/27/20180927_josh.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Kapamilya star Joshua Garcia is taking his ABS-CBN Ball preparations to a new level this year, inspired by Julia Barretto&#x27;s pre-ball rituals.</p><p>As he prepared for the Ball, which gathers the country&#x27;s most-admired celebrities, Garcia said that while he did not make any extravagant preparations, he wanted to do something different, inspired by Barretto&#x27;s always on-point style.</p><p>To prepare for the ABS-CBN Ball, Garcia said he worked with designer Joey Espiritu to tailor a special look. His hair will also be styled a bit differently, he said. </p><p>&quot;Nagsabihan kami kung ano ang magandang gawin sa suit. Style pa rin niya ang ginamit ko. Noong nakita ko ang suit, sobrang excited akong isuot dahil bago siya sa paningin,&quot; he said.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/advertorial/09/27/20180927_joshua.jpg"/></figure></div><p>He is looking forward to the ABS-CBN Ball, he said, because it is part of a year which has been “blessed.”</p><p>“Yung year na ito para sa amin, maganda ito. Mixed emotions, lahat ng emosyon andun. This year, masasabi kong na-bless kami. Pinatatag kami. Mas lumalim ang samahan namin saka ang pagkakakilala namin sa isa&#x27;t isa,” he said.</p><p>He was especially thankful that workwise, he and Barretto have also been lucky in getting the trust of international mobile brand OPPO. </p><p>“Sobrang blessed namin, mapa-work, endorsement. Nagugulat na lang kami na &#x27;Thank God, may tiwala itong brand na ito sa amin.&#x27; Thankful kami…I&#x27;m very happy to be part of the OPPO family, and thankful ako na sa dinamiraming artista, sa amin nagtiwala ni Julia,” he said.</p><p>Garcia is expected to walk the red carpet with rumored girlfriend Barretto, who is often counted among the best-dressed stars in the glittering event.</p><p>Last year, the couple—affectionately called ‘JoshLia’ by fans—arrived together in contrasting outfits.
