His calmness was powerful when he tried to convince Cherry to let go of the letter, and his crying, although quiet, carried undeniable weight. Gerald’s powerfully subtle performance was complemented by Ivana’s extreme emotions ranging from anger to disappointment and hysteria. Ivana astonished the viewers when she collapsed into strong emotions after finally getting a hold of the letter. Add to that the scene where she confronted the Estrellas’ accomplices in concealing the truth about her parents&#x27; deaths. Jake Ejercito delivered a moving performance, internalizing pain, rage, and shame when he went out of control at Coleen (Rans Rifol)’s funeral. He grumbled at the guests gossiping about his affair and Coleen’s death, then at Cherry for spreading his video scandal that fuelled Coleen’s suicide. Before that, Seb shared a deeply affecting scene with Coleen in the aftermath of his sex scandal. Rans showcased pure dramatic brilliance as she erupts into pain. It circled back to her usual feistiness, then, it ended in despair. The chaos in her emotions was so real that viewers were heartbroken with her. Heaven Peralejo made sure to make the most of her every scene. She was believable as a vixen getting her revenge on the Estrellas, then as a gracious woman changed by her love for Drew. It was refreshing to see Aya Fernandez act fierce as Becca, a contrast to her perky personality in real life. More than the ‘kontrabida’ vibe, she depicted the pain of unrequited love, especially in the scene where she finally dared to step out of her loveless relationship with Dave. She used to chase him as best as she could, but at the moment, she decided to chase her self-respect.The Estrella brothers are compelling enough individually, but when together in a single scene, we can expect Gerald, Sam, Jake, and Jameson to multiply the intensity of the drama. One of their deadliest, most satisfying confrontations broke out after Cherry discovered the letter. At the moment, Paco and Dave clashed while Drew was remorseful. Seb attempts to break the fight but ended up exploding as well. After punches were thrown and a shouting match transpired, they arrived at a resolution to protect their family’s secrets.
