Cherry Red executes the perfect revenge on Paco with a prank

There’s nothing more satisfying than watching a teleserye lead getting sweet vengeance. That is why we’re thrilled to see how Cherry Red (Ivana Alawi) satiates her thirst for justice against the Estrellabrothers including her husband Paco (Gerald Anderson).But even before Cherry gets to punish Paco for his lies and his family’s crimes, Ivana already had her means to provoke her leading man – through a prank! Watch her try his patience during taping via this episode of Behind the Affair, a Made for YouTube series that lets us in on the behind-the-scenes happenings of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/afamilyaffair" target="_blank">A Family Affair</a>. In the video, Ivana can be seen preparing with the glam team, saying she asked the writers to create a fake script for the prank. The game plan is to annoy her leading man by acting crusty due to an injured finger smothered with prosthetics. She set the mood beforehand by treating Gerald’s assistant with an awful attitude, to warn him somehow. The cameras start rolling. Ivana and Gerald’s characters can be seen sharing a quiet moment inside a car, with the latter driving. Heeding the script, he held and kissed her hand. That’s her cue to stir drama by complaining about her throbbing finger and telling the staff that Gerald intentionally squeezed it. Ivana was making a fuss about her swollen finger, yet Gerald remained patient and showed genuine concern for his leading lady. Aww! He looked so worried and asked the medic to put ice on Ivana’s injury to reduce swelling. He even touched her arm before the camera starts rolling again as if trying to comfort her.Her protests and difficulty to deliver seem fair enough since she’s injured, however, she’s causing a delay. And when she said Gerald pressed her finger, the actor went from feeling worried to guilty. He wanted to stop the taping and let Ivana rest instead. But the production staff persisted to finish the scene for airing. At that point, Gerald was slowly getting ‘pikon’ and having a difficult time dealing with his co-star’s diva attitude. He also proved his being a team player by weighing the situation and his co-actor&#x27;s feelings. “Hindi niya kaya, Direk, Bali ‘yung kamay, bali. Huwag na natin pilitin, kawawa naman,” he said, frustrated. Ivana asked for one last attempt to finish the scene. Unable to hold her laughter, she revealed the prank and giggled as Gerald comes out of the car looking so confused.
