When the wicked conceives evil, they bear trouble and then dig a trap for others but only to fall into it themselves. This sounded more true in a recent episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano wherein Omar (John Wayne Sace)’s betrayal recoiled on him. Look back at how his own evil plans backfired via this Kapamilya Toplist of scenes.

We all hated Omar for his endless monologues on how he plans to kill Cardo (Coco Martin) and the Agilas, consumed by hatred over his family’s death. It can be recalled that his brother was a former Black Ops member who got killed during Cardo’s attack at the headquarters. His wife and child were caught in the crossfire during Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel)’s exhibit. All these losses planted the seeds of vendetta in his heart.

Since he is powerless, all he could do is move in secret. He tried to gun them down while they’re asleep, connive with Samuel (Michael Flores) and Lucas (Joseph Marco) when caught stealing a weapon, and contact the Black Ops for help. None of these worked. But his failures never devoured the confidence to topple down Cardo’s elite force. Omar said only he has the license to toss the final nail in Cardo’s coffin.

Well, he tried to be bolder one time by questioning the Agilas’ selfish motives, only to be silenced by Patrick (CJ Ramos)’s fury. Poor Omar was tumbled just by Patrick’s hefty shove, yet believes he can slay them all.

You’d spot the traitor during the Agilas’ crucial discussions, eavesdropping to gather information he can use against them. He found a good opportunity to execute his plans when the Agilas together with Armando (John Estrada)’s group attacked at Don Ignacio’s exhibit attended by Lily (Lorna Tolentino) and Mariano (Rowell Santiago).

Omar encountered the Black Ops and Lito (Richard Gutierrez) during the exhibit and told them that the Agilas are just there flocking amongst the crowd. Although the enemies failed, Omar was happy to see the Agilas on the brink of death. He pretended to help the wounded members, although frustrated that the Agilas managed to hostage the President. In the succeeding scene, Omar gave Mariano water to drink and promised to help him escape, clueless that he’s talking the fake President.

We expected Omar to have a change of heart after Cardo’s sincere apology. Cardo’s words tugged at his conscience, it appears. Yet, Omar let bitterness prevail.

If he can’t destroy all the Agilas, maybe eliminating just one commander will be as satisfying. In the episode, the Agilas escaped from Armando’s pursuit one by one. But Omar didn’t let the final Agila, Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas), fly away. He shot Lolo Delfin on the shoulder. When cornered by the assassins, Omar explained his personal vendetta and vowed to join forces with Armando’s team.

However, the canny Armando thought that once a traitor, always a traitor. And he wouldn’t let snakes get in his team.

Even before he was able to say a word, Omar was shot in the head and died in an instant.
