Jaime Fabregas, co-stars thank Coco Martin as they share their ‘Kwentong Probinsyano’

The past and present stars of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/angprobinsyano">FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano</a> are grateful to be part of the life-changing show. Even screen veterans like Jaime Fabregas like to discover new things every day, and he’s happy to have picked up a lot from the teleserye which he’s been part of for almost seven years.“Bilang aktor, ‘yung learning process na tinatawag natin, hindi nagtatapos ‘yun. Ang dami kong natutunan sa show na ito bilang aktor, bilang tao. Lahat ng experiences na naranasan ko sa Probinsyano, ‘yun ang tutulak sa akin sa mga susunod kong gagawin,” said the award-winning thespian.Jaime is one of the show’s original cast members. As his beloved character General Delfin Borja recently bid goodbye, he only has gratitude for his second family, “Maraming salamat sa Probinsyano. Maraming salamat sa ABS-CBN. Maraming salamat sa Dreamscape [Entertainment]. Maraming salamat lalong-lalo na kay Coco Martin. At maraming salamat kay Susan Roces.”Other cast members are thankful to Coco for giving them a second lease in their career. Former child star CJ Ramos related how the actor-director ushered him back to the limelight, “’Yung character ni Patrick Espinosa dito, biglang nagkaroon ng ilaw, nagliwanag ang mundo niya. Nagkaroon ng opportunity ulit ang isang CJ Ramos. Dahil kay Cardo Dalisay po, nabago po ang buhay ko.”Whitney Tyson is also one of the artists who were given jobs by the teleserye, “Bumalik na naman ‘yung shine ng aking star.”Rap artists Smugglaz and Bassilyo never imagined themselves trading song verses for drama scripts, thus grateful how the series helped them discover new skills. “Sobrang solid ni Direk Coco kasi inabot niya kami sa linggwahe na alam namin. Wala kaming alam sa industriya na ‘to lalo na ako siguro… Parang magical sa amin lahat ng mga nangyari na ito,” said Smugglaz.Bassilyo seconded, “Nabago nang todo-todo ang buhay ko.”As for Pepe Herrera, who previously played Coco’s sidekick, Benny, the series changed his life by giving him more popularity, “Unti-unti na akong hindi makalabas ng bahay nang walang nagpapa-picture sa akin. Feeling ko ‘yun talaga ang nagbukas ng pintuan, in many ways, sa akin, ‘yung pagpasok ko sa Probinsyano.”Another one of the show’s sidekicks, Nonong Ballinan as Ambo, thanked Coco for his sincerity and close relationship with his fellow cast members, “Hindi ko siya naramdaman na boss. Mas naramdaman ko siya bilang kuya, ‘yung kuya na hindi ka pababayaan. Nakita ko ‘yung malasakit niya sa amin. Hanggang n’ung nag-pandemic, hindi niya kami pinabayaan. Parang ‘yung relasyon ng pagiging kuya niya sa amin, off at on sa camera, nandiyan pa rin siya para sa amin.”Kapamilya viewers also shared the teleserye’s impact on their lives.
