Marela Torre shares trivia about her FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s scenes via Kapamilya React

Badass women are most welcome in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, that’s why Marela Torre bagged a spot in the series as the cunning bodyguard Thalia. Get to know the up-and-coming actress more as she reacts to her scenes in the action-drama series.

The first clip shows an intense female combat between Thalia and Mara (Julia Montes). They tried to disarm each other in swift choreography, which, as Marela revealed, was made on-the-spot. She gave credit to Julia for the execution.

The next scene is a loud bickering with Vangie Labalan aka Lucia, who kept on shouting at Thalia during Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel)'s hostage-taking incident. At that point, Marela shared how she sketched Thalia’s character through the directors’ help, aside from reviewing the past episodes.

She went on to share the best part of playing Thalia, which is working with the cast and crew. The most challenging part, on the other hand, is to maintain the character’s toughness. She and Thalia may be complete opposites but she’s learning to adapt to different characters.

We got to see more of Thalia’s intensity in the next clip where she intended evil against Don Ignacio at the hospital. According to Marela, she slightly broke the props because of her ‘gigil.’ In this scene, she’s with Tommy and Vangie, two of the most respected artists in the industry. Working with veterans like them, she learned that knowing her lines is one of the most important elements of acting, as well as keeping her focus.

She’s now comfortable bonding with her co-stars, even with Vangie. They’re both Ilongga, so that explains the same humor. She also loves it when they gather for dinner after work, “Kasi wala nang iniisip, mas relaxed na.”

The last scene witnessed Thalia’s encounter with the Black Ops led by Albert (Geoff Eigenman), whom she slept with. Marela shared that the kissing scene with Geoff is also her first onscreen kiss. That’s why she had apprehensions but now she’s thankful that viewers appreciate their work.
