Called to protect the oppressed and the country, Cardo (Coco Martin) is expected to clash against deadly foes. Look back at his biggest adversaries through the years in this episode of “FPJAP Balik-Tanaw.”As part of the celebrations for <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/angprobinsyano" target="_blank">FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano</a>’s 7th anniversary, the teleserye launched a series of special features wherein past and present cast members look back on their experiences in the show. In this episode, we’ll be throwing it back to Tomas Tuazon, Joaquin Tuazon, and Homer aka Alakdan’s era, as well as that of Lito Valmoria.Albert Martinez can be counted as one of the most dangerous ‘kontrabidas’ in the series as mafia leader Tomas Tuazon, who is best remembered for his wise tactics. The man was revered in public but a demon behind closed doors. Admittedly, Albert found his character complicated and very challenging yet fulfilling.The Tuazons are a family of drug lords, and Tomas’ son, Joaquin, played by Arjo Atayde, was tasked to protect the business from the cops. His presence on the show was undeniably terrifying, but behind the cameras, Arjo enjoyed bonding with his co-stars. The bond is one of his favorite memories from the show, as well as learning from his co-artists.Jhong Hilario’s character, the rebel guy Homer aka Alakdan has been a formidable enemy of the dauntless Agila. His first mortal sin was bombing malls in the city that killed Cardo’s son, and the chain of vengeance started from there. Jhong mentioned he was supposed to guest star for just two weeks but his role was extended for almost two years.Every hero has a weakness. In Cardo’s case, it’s his wife Alyana (Yassi Pressman), who Lito almost stole, making the latter a significant threat. In the interview, Richard shared that he didn’t think twice about accepting the role, which he described as “exciting.”The episode also paid tribute to Cardo’s other unforgettable rivals such as corrupt politician Lucas Cabrera (Edu Manzano), evil political scion Marco Cabrera (JC Santos), professional killer Hector (Cesar Montano), and the mafia leader Don Emilio magnificently portrayed by legendary actor Eddie Garcia.
