<p>One look at Aljon Mendoza and you’ll be instantly pulled by his cool boy-next-door charm, plus he’s got the talent that shines in his every small screen project. It’s no surprise he was able to make it to Kapamilya fans’ radar in no time. </p><p>Within only five years since his television debut, his career has continued to just bloom and bloom. Aljon has three MMK episodes under his belt, one of which brought him an acting recognition – a huge achievement for a rookie star. </p><p>He first appeared in MMK via “<em>Medal of Valor</em>” episode, still in 2019, which narrates the life story of hero soldier Ian Paquit (portrayed by Joshua Garcia), who got fatally shot while fighting in the Zamboanga siege, and was conferred the highest military honor, the Medal of Valor, after putting himself in the line of fire to rescue the hostages. </p><p>Aljon played Ian’s brother, Ron-Ron, who followed his footsteps as a soldier.
