The Philippines has 7, 107 islands (and 500 more newly discovered and still unexplored according to studies). That’s why an island adventure is always part of every Pinoy’s travel bucket list. But, what if you get trapped on an island, how will you survive?

Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, who play characters stuck in a mysterious island resort in the digital series “Fractured,” share their survival techniques in these videos!

If stuck on an island, Francine's choice of survival tools includes a walkie-talkie (which she trades for her lip balm), matchsticks so she doesn’t need to make fire from scratch, and enough drinking water.

The perfect companions would have to be her best friend Jayda Avanzado, her cousin Liza, and her crush Chris Evans. She thinks the most annoying companions on a deserted island are ”‘yung reklamador tapos walang ginagawa, ‘yung iyakin na hindi mo na alam kung anong kapupuntahan ng pag-iyak niya imbes na gumawa ng plano, at ‘yung hindi cooperative.”

If she could choose the islands she’d want to be trapped in, she’d go for Siargao, Palawan, and Apo Island. Francine prays she doesn’t get trapped in Snake Island and islands with wild animals, especially crocodiles.

As for Seth, the top island survival tools are lighter for making fire and a first aid kit in case he gets wounded. He’d also keep the versatile knife handy at his disposal.

Asked three people he’d want to get stuck with, he picked his father “kasi sanay siya sa isla,” his brother, and anime character Doraemon known for his ability to bring out useful items from his pockets. Seth would never want to be stuck with people “na walang pakinabang, maarte, at tamad.” He added, “Tulungan dapat ‘pag gano’ng sitwasyon.”

He would love to be trapped in the islands of Siargao, Palawan, and his province in Romblon. Just like Francine, he dreads to be stuck in the Snake Island.
