<p><strong>Love Bites: ”One Post Away”</strong> leaves a lot of pleasant emotions, with the cheerful presentation of Aira (Karina Bautista) and her seemingly perfect professor Jude (Gello Marquez)’s love story that will inspire you to confess your feelings to your crush. You can say it straight to his face or manifest things with a tweet. Cute on the surface, but the episode also gives a peek into the daily struggle of a person dealing with anxiety caused by relationship trauma. </p><p>The second offering of <strong>ABS-CBN’s newest Made For YouTube</strong> series starts off with a glimpse of Aira ‘tweeting’ her feelings for Sir Jude. Flashbacks roll, bringing us to her college days. In the next scene, she bumped into Sir Jude after almost passing out due to a sudden episode of anxiety attack. The trigger? Seeing her ex-boyfriend with a new girl. Sir Jude helped her relax following the attack. For sure, you had big smiles watching her relatable low-key ‘ligaw’ moves such as finding a reason to talk to him and orchestrating “accidental” encounters around campus. But none of her little strategies worked. She felt invisible in a crowd of girls trying to get Sir Jude’s attention. He went abroad to study. The pandemic happened. It’s as if life was telling her to forget about her romantic dreams. Yet, old feelings resurfaced as Sir Jude comes home after his studies. </p><p>In a ‘kilig’ twist of fate, Sir Jude would learn that Aira had tweeted about him. They would reconnect and become friends until Aira experienced an episode of panic attack in the middle of their video conversation. He became the calm to her anxious thoughts since. He was there as she goes through the process of healing. Aira got brave for real, asking Sir Jude the million-dollar question: “May chance ba na maging tayo?” Some would say that having our crushes fall in love with us only happens in teleseryes or in our wildest dreams, but in the case of Aira and Jude, the feelings of admiration was mutual from the beginning. </p><p>That ‘tweet’ aged well. </p><p>Aira and Jude will make you believe in destiny, but also in having the courage to get the pen yourself and write your own story. The universe favors the bold, right? You’d rather want to be brave than miss the shot and carry regret for the rest of your life. Even if it doesn’t end as Aira and Jude’s story did, at least you let the other person know. </p><p>A huge part of the episode’s charm is Karina and Gello’s chemistry, which comes as a sweet surprise since it’s their first time getting paired up. It&#x27;s hard to believe that they only got to be friends on set since they seemed so natural in their reactions. She didn’t overact her panic attack scenes. She was believably shy and vulnerable yet you’ll be rooting for her. If you think Gello wouldn’t be able to get rid of his funny guy persona from his previous series, then, you’re wrong. Here, he’s serious and mysterious, giving off real leading man vibe.
