Richard Gutierrez is geared up for his first Kapamilya solo-starrer “The Iron Heart,” of which the newest teaser is heavy on action and suspense.

The short clip released by Star Creatives reveals some exciting elements in the series including the level of toughness Richard will showcase as Apollo, a debonair agent and hard-as-nails cage fighter and inmate. The preview offered scenes of Richard training and putting his skills to use during a hand-to-hand combat tournament watched by wealthy bettors. He is presumably hot on the trail of a shady syndicate, hinted by his character blowing up a chopper.

Pepe Herrera appeared in the last sequence, amused by Richard’s display of strength. As previously announced, Maja Salvador, Jake Cuenca, and Sue Ramirez will be joining the cast, too.

The 45-second trailer does not yet contain major details about the story, but it reinforces what Star Creatives have been uploading on their social media pages. In a series of behind-the-scenes photos and stills, Richard can be seen honing his strikes and punches.

He is also expected to handle guns.

The visuals create a dark and dangerous vibe in the scenes from the underworld tournament.

While major details such as plot and characters are still being kept under wraps, netizens are already stoked about the teleserye’s Hollywood vibe, with some comparing Richard to secret agent character James Bond.

“The Iron Heart” is set to premiere this November 14.
