Now we know where Barbie Imperial got her humor and bubbly personality! In a recent vlog update, Barbie documented what a day in her life has been like, now that she mostly stays at home and bonds with her Mama Bing.At the start of the video, she greets her followers and says that she woke up later than usual and then proceeds to making her bed. After a little talk about her new favorite stuff in her room, she goes down to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast. Barbie is on a strict no-sugar diet, which is why she personally prepares her meals, making sure to follow her nutritionist’s advice. The video actually reveals how nurturing and domesticated (wife material, yes) she is. “Gusto ko lahat malinis,” she shares. “’Yung mind ko, hindi niya kayang magpahinga hangga’t may isang gawain akong naiiwan.”During her downtime, Barbie stays in the living room to read books about business management. According to the Kapamilya beauty, she started to love self-help books after reading “Atomic Habits,” which helped her get over a breakup. She highly recommends the book to those who are trying to get rid of toxic habits or leave an unpleasant situation.She further expands her knowledge about business by watching videos on the said topic. She thinks her diligence in honing her entrepreneurial skill reflects her fear of living again in poverty.“Honestly, takot akong bumalik kami sa dati naming life, ‘yung mahirap. Kaya feeling ko rin ‘yung pagkatao ko, kung ano ako ngayon, parang it’s always about making money, working, career. Kasi ayaw ko nang ibalik ‘yung Mama ko sa life namin before, which is, kung alam n’yo naman, sobrang hirap until nakapasok ako sa PBB. So I’m doing everything para maging successful ako in life and mabigay ko ‘yung mga pangangailangan ng family ko,” she imparts.“Kayod nang kayod” is her current mantra.Her next task, meanwhile, reflects her being independent, which was one of the many qualities we loved about her during her Pinoy Big Brother stint. She calls a contractor to discuss her mom’s room’s renovation. After which, she was prompted to muse on her duties as the family’s ‘caretaker’.“It makes me proud na I’m only 25 pero ang dami ko ng pinagdaanan sa buhay, and alam ko na kung paano siya ayusin.” Sometimes, though, she also longs for a break, “Actually, minsan napapaisip ako, sana may nag-aayos din ng mga bagay for me. But hindi tayo pinanganak na mayaman. So kailangan nating gawin ang mga bagay-bagay na sari-sarili lang.”After all, she feels blessed to be able to call herself an independent woman. As if what she’s shown in the first parts of the vlog isn’t enough to raise our admiration for her, Barbie spends the rest of the afternoon showing her love for her mom, Bing. She prepares her mom a pasta recipe she learned on TikTok and which she has quite mastered already.Mama Bing then joins Barbie in the vlog and makes these hilarious ‘hirits’ that bring out their fun mother-daughter bond.
