<p>There’s something new about Janine Gutierrez – her newfound kitchen mastery. Inspired by her mother, Lotlot de Leon, the “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/dirtylinen" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>Dirty Linen</u></strong></em></a>” star recently took a basic culinary course, and what better way to showcase her skills than by whipping up something delicious for her mom during the recent Mother’s Day celebration?</p><p>To add an extra sweet touch to their bond, she decided to prepare her version of Lotlot’s 4-Cheese Lasagna recipe. As they were just preparing, a hilarious mishap happened when they failed to check the ingredients beforehand and discovered that the mozzarella cheese had expired. Lotlot was taken aback by the smell, prompting them to adjust their plans and make a 3-cheese Lasagna instead.</p><div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="391" referrerPolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/khxh_m0CsRs" title="Cooking My Mom" s="" Lasagna="" Cook="" with="" Nini="" Janine="" width="695"></iframe></div><p>They began by chopping the necessary ingredients, such as onions and garlic. Janine then proceeded to cook the ground beef, with Lotlot providing guidance every step of the way. Lotlot’s first tip was to use less oil when cooking fatty beef.</p><p>Then, she was there to teach Janine how much herbs to add. After the herbs, they put cream cheese, followed by milk. Next came the cheddar cheese; Lotlot&#x27;s technique involved adding a bit more cheddar and milk since they didn&#x27;t have mozzarella. They poured in the wine. Pro tip: Do not mix for at least 2 minutes until the alcohol has burned off.</p><p>Once the sauce was cooked, they spread a bit of it in the pan to prevent the lasagna from sticking, then began layering the lasagna sheets and sauce. Before adding the egg to the mixture, crack it into a separate bowl first to check its quality. Avoid cracking it directly into the lasagna to prevent wasting ingredients if the egg is bad. The egg and cheese mixture was then poured over the pan, and now it&#x27;s ready to be baked.</p><p>As they were preparing the food, Janine and Lotlot offered us a glimpse of their simple Mother’s Day celebration this year. They just had simple lunch date and then this activity.
