Dimples Romana was a regular on the Star Magic Ball red carpet, gracing no fewer than five editions. As such, her Ball ‘aesthetic’ had overall been very consistent, sticking to a quiet but elevated glam game. In the gallery, we chart the actress’ Star Magic Ball moments through the years.

The year 2010 marked the beginning of a brighter era of Dimples’ career as she starred in the modern-day version of the classic ABS-CBN drama “Mara Clara,” where she played Mara (Kathryn Bernardo)’s biological mother and Clara (Julia Montes)’s foster mother. And what better way to swathe a brilliant star than opt for a dress that exudes sophistication? She came to the Star Magic Ball 2010 in a black symmetrical gown.

On the morning of September 3, 2011, she tweeted, “Star Magic Ball today! Have a blessed weekend, everyone!” True enough, she became one of the most exciting stars on the red carpet that night, glamorous as ever in a red gown. But, nope, this wasn’t yet her ‘Daniela Mondragon’ era.

Dimples sure knows how to stand out without breaking the rules, akin to her dynamic as a Star Magic artist. In 2012, she wore a black laced dress, then added a pop of color with a red bow on the waist.

Black had been her consistent choice until she revamped her fashion taste in 2014 by donning her first-ever white dress on the red carpet. Her streak for lighter hues would continue for the next two Ball editions.

Who says that moms can’t rock such a glamorous affair? Less than a year after giving birth to her second child, Alonzo, Dimples flaunted her slim post-partum body in a simple but modish dress in 2015.

While her overall fashion taste had evolved through the years, some things remained the same, such as her penchant for sleek hairstyles. One of our favorites is when she let her long hair down in 2016; giving ‘goddess’ vibe.

Her final Star Magic Ball appearance in 2017 was fierce and powerful, as she owned her ‘little black dress’ moment on the red carpet.

As one of the most constant Star Magic Ball attendees in the past years, Dimples will surely grace the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball, carrying her signature elegance.
