Filipinos welcomed December with cheer and excitement as ABS-CBN officially launched its <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/videos/watch-abs-cbn-christmas-special-id-2023-355046" target="_blank">2023 Christmas Special ID</a> last Friday, December 1.The annual tradition highlights the colorful culture of Pinoy Christmas through deeply affecting hymns and spectacular music videos participated in by Kapamilya stars. For this year, the theme is &quot;Pasko Ang Pinakamagandang Kwento,&quot; an awe-inspiring reminder of the true meaning of the season. Check out these behind-the-scenes moments captured during the recording and music video shoot.Among the artists present was Sarah Geronimo, whom we dearly missed seeing on TV. The OPM icon radiated an even more breathtaking glow as she lent her voice for the 2023 holiday anthem. In the BTS clip, you’ll find her giggling at the end of her performance, which goes to show how much she enjoyed taking part in yet another ABS-CBN Christmas Special ID.The ABS-CBN compound was jampacked in what seemed like a grand reunion among artists. Judy Ann Santos proves her loyalty to Kapamilya fans by partaking in the yearly event.Kathryn Bernardo is embracing the holiday spirit with Kapamilyas as well.Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia, who recently became part of history as the lead stars of the first ABS-CBN and GMA collaboration project “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-videos/behind-the-scenes-all-the-fun-bittersweet-happenings-on-unbreak-my-heart-last-taping-day-21046" target="_blank">Unbreak My Heart</a>,” delighted their fervid supporters with their presence.Angelica Panganiban and Iza Calzado will sure have a merrier Christmas with their baby daughters. But never will they forget to celebrate with the Kapamilya community, too.As in previous years, the stars were featured in groups based on their past and present teleseryes. In the video, we see “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank">FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a>” representatives Ivana Alawi and Cherry Pie Picache, the “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/cantbuymelove" target="_blank">Can’t Buy Me Love</a>” Tiu family and Binondo team led by Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, as well as “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/seniorhigh2023" target="_blank">Senior High’</a>s” Northfordians and their veteran co-stars.The “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/dirtylinen" target="_blank">Dirty Linen</a>” and “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/theironheart" target="_blank">The Iron Heart</a>” artists were reunited for the music video shoot, as well as the cast members of “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/linlang-fever-is-on-retains-top-spot-on-prime-video-ph-21007" target="_blank">Linlang</a>” and “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/francine-and-seths-dream-vacation-gone-wrong-in-fractured-20575" target="_blank">Fractured</a>.” Luis Manzano’s “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-photos/behind-the-scene-photos-of-its-your-lucky-day-launching-day-16412" target="_blank">It’s Your Lucky Day</a>” fam enjoyed the shoot and their mini-reunion.The “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/asap" target="_blank">ASAP Natin ‘To</a>” family led by Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez, and Ogie Alcasid, of course, were part of the singing and making of the music video.
