With how mesmerizingly handsome he is, not to mention being a versatile actor who never fails to amaze us with his every portrayal, it’s definitely impossible not to fall in love with Joshua. In 2023, his followers on Instagram were perhaps surprised when he began sharing via Stories, videos and snaps of him while cooking.

Sofia Andres

Not a lot of people probably know becoming a chef is something that Sofia has always dreamed of. And just last year, she finally had the chance to enroll herself at the Center for Culinary Arts Manila along with her partner Daniel Miranda.

In an IG post, the The Iron Heart star enthusiastically gave us a glimpse of their fun experience by writing, “First day of school today and we definitely enjoyed the whole process of cooking and learning something new.”

Sarah Lahbati

Just like her bestie Sofia, Sarah also pursued her passion for cooking at the Center for Culinary Arts Manila in 2023. She gave us peek on her awesome experience through the IG reel that she posted showing us a bit of everything she did. It was a dream turned into reality for her, so she was very elated to share it with her beloved kids Zion and Kai, who served as her adorable sous chefs.

Jodi Sta. Maria

Just when finishing her psychology degree and taking on acupuncture aren’t enough yet for her, Jodi became a student once again, much to the delight of fans. She earned a certificate in cooking and baking from the Center for Asian Culinary studies.

Even though juggling her showbiz commitments and her mommy duties are already tough, Jodi didn’t let those hinder her from pursuing her personal pursuits, which includes going back to school! After fulfilling her lifelong dream of graduating from college in 2021 as she finished her Psychology degree with flying colors as a dean’s lister, Jodi went back to school early this year to take up Certificate Program in Cooking and Baking Skills at Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS).

And in July 2023, her unico hijo Thirdy became one of her classmates as he and his friends also enrolled to the program. She shared that awesome milestone on Instagram and captioned it, “Dati pinag-uusapan lang natin na sana maging magka-klase tayo and today that happened.”

Julia Barretto

While the personalities in this list entered culinary school to pursue their passion in cooking, Julia attended cooking classes at the Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts last January as a part of her preparation for an upcoming project that she’s about to do. She shared a couple of black-and-white photos of her on IG and captioned it, “Learning something new, for something new”.

Enzo Pineda

Whenever he’s not busy with work, not a lot of people know that Enzo has been spending most of his time lately in the kitchen of Center for Culinary Arts. The Can’t Buy Me Love actor shares his journey on IG, from his daily routine as a culinary student to their ala-MasterChef midterm exams. While it was only last January when he gave us a glimpse of him in action through posting reels, Enzo has been serving his followers with delectable dishes through the snaps that he posts since late last year.

Ryza Cenon

She may already be a careerwo-mom, but it doesn’t stop her from pursuing a hobby and learning a new skill, which is baking. Last January, the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actress enrolled herself at the Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts and has been sharing her sweet journey on IG. So far, Ryza has already learned to bake cakes, bread, and cupcakes, and has been filling the stomachs of her beloved fam with her tasty creations, too.
