Host DJ Jhai Ho is ecstatic that his program, Hotspot, is finally back to doing live interviews after almost two years of virtual episodes due to the pandemic. In the video, he catches up with “Lyric and Beat” stars Darren Espanto and AC Bonifacio.

Darren and AC are busy promoting their upcoming musical series “Lyric and Beat” which also stars Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin aka SethDrea, together with Jeremy G, Angela Ken, and Sheena Belarmino. According to Darren, they’re joined by industry veterans, whose names they want to keep a secret for now.

The young stars of “Lyric and Beat” are thrilled to be working with the senior stars and said they’ve grown good camaraderie with them.

“Lyric and Beat” is a bit of everything, as AC mentioned, “Madami po talagang preparations ‘yung Lyric and Beat.” Based on the teasers, it revolves around high school kids who are members of a musical group and reaching for both their individual and collective dreams. The song and dance numbers in the series pay tribute to the 20 years of music of hitmakerJonathan Manalo.

Apart from “Lyric and Beat” which is set to premiere on iWantTFC, Darren and AC are also busy with creating their music, as well as preparing for their performances in upcoming international shows and their regular stint on ASAP Natin ‘To.
