In this video, “Hex Boyfriend” loveteam Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza demonstrate how to start the best conversation by asking three questions they haven’t asked each other before.

Ask questions meaty enough to know their dreams too, such as, “Kung magiging bida ka sa isang movie, sino ang gusto mong maging kontrabida.” This way, he learned that she’s a huge fan of Nadine Lustre and that she dreams to work with her. “Parang na-i-intrigue lang ako what kind of person she is, parang sobrang strong kasi ng peronality niya. So, feeling ko okay lang magpaapi sa kanya. Love ko kasi siya,” Karina said of Nadine.

Or, subtly find out how much they’re willing to sacrifice for you. “Pauutangin mo ba ako ng 200 thousand?” she asked, to which he responded, “Hindi. Alam mo kung bakit? Mayaman ka na. Kaya mo na ‘yan.”
