So much ‘feels’ in one video! While the <a href="https://theball.abs-cbn.com" target="_blank">ABS-CBN Ball 2023</a> livestream zoned in on the spectacular moments that jazzed up the red carpet, there was actually more to the star-studded affair than the sartorial parade and poses made to perfection. Behind the scenes and inside the ballroom, the occasion was a medley of glam and gratitude, of joyful surprise interactions, exciting performances, and words from the ABS-CBN leaders that will certainly touch the heart of every solid Kapamilya. It pays homage to the new era of solidarity that sparked when friends from the media supported ABS-CBN through creative collaborations. They are the industry partners, advertisers, and employees – ABS-CBN Chairman Martin “Mark” Lopez calls them the company’s biggest blessings. From the heart of every Kapamilya, sincerest gratitude is given to these people who offered friendship and help. In the words of ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, “These last few years, I have learned to cherish the sincerity of those among you that have embraced the true meaning of Kapamilya. Because of you, we have been able to continue telling our stories to more Filipinos and to new audiences all over the world. Because of you, ABS-CBN can continue to serve. For all of these, we are forever grateful.” ABS-CBN COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes also expressed appreciation to all Kapamilya employees for their selfless sacrifices, hard work, and dedication to the mission of service. It has been a spectacular night for everyone at the Ball, set in a magical, lush garden-themed red carpet and ballroom at the Makati Shagri-La last September 30. The SDE captured the preparations of the styling team as they transformed the venue into an ethereal scene filled with refreshing floral arrangements against a palette of green and white. The guests would flaunt their fiercest, picture-perfect poses in front of the cameras then break into huge smiles as they walk past the red carpet and greet familiar faces. Judy Ann Santos and husband Ryan Agoncillo, who opened the red carpet show, charmed spectators with their cute finger-heart poses. The ABS-CBN bosses let loose as they go wacky in a photo op. In the SDE video, we see the jaw-dropping entrances of Coco Martin from “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank">FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a>” with surprise date Julia Montes, Richard Gutierrez from “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/theironheart" target="_blank">The Iron Heart</a>,” and Andrea Brillantes from “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/seniorhigh2023" target="_blank">Senior High</a>” who owned her moment in a ravishing red gown. Also spotted on the red carpet were veteran actress Lorna Tolentino; “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime" target="_blank">It’s Showtime</a>” hosts Vice Ganda with Ion Perez, Kim Chiu, Ryan Bang, and Karylle; and Star Magic prized talents Maymay Entrata, Jane de Leon, and Sofia Andres. Kapamilya loveteams LoiNie, McLisse, FranSeth, and KDLex, as well as real-life couples Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones, Maris Racal and Rico Blanco, and Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo made the night extra romantic. The guests enjoyed catching up with colleagues and making new friends. We’re all for Kathryn Bernardo and Lovi Poe running to each other for a hug, and the unexpected happy reunion of Janella Salvador and Julia Barretto made possible by Dimples Romana and red-carpet host Gretchen Fullido. The ABS-CBN Ball is that one occasion where stars assemble in the same midnight sky. No wonder it feels like a reunion or homecoming to some. Angelica Panganiban, who skipped the red carpet program, giddily danced the night away with friends like Jodi Sta. Maria and Iza Calzado. Coco was thrilled to party with good friend and fellow director Chito Roño. Talking about reunions, we can imagine Lovi and Jennica Garcia letting out a girly shriek as they bump into each other at the Ball. Another artist who became a Kapamilya at the peak of the pandemic, Sunshine Dizon strutted the red carpet with “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/paraiso2023" target="_blank">Pira-Pirasong Paraiso</a>” co-star Epy Quizon. In the spirit of harmony, GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon and GMA Network Senior Vice President Anette Gozon-Valdes, as well as Sparkle GMA Artist Vice President Joy Marcelo and GMA senior talent manager Tracy Garcia were spotted at the event. Other notable Kapuso who crossed over for the special night were Cassy Legaspi as Darren Espanto’s date.The video also offers a glimpse into the winning moments of attendees who took home special trophies. Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano aka DonBelle were glowing as they received their “Power Couple of The Ball” and “Stars Of The Night” awards. Kathryn and squadmate Joshua Garcia savored their moment on stage as they grabbed their Metro Best Dressed awards. It&#x27;s worth noting that Daniel Padilla let his beloved Kathryn own her spotlight that evening. The event brimmed with performances from the brightest Kapamilya talents, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez included. Renowned politicians, news personalities, and business magnates likewise enjoyed a few moments of party time at the Ball.
