Let’s start with the Kapamilya stars who avoid consuming certain kinds of food that they know can take a toll on their performances.CJ Navato stays away from salty, oily, and powdery food as those could affect the throat. Elisse Joson doesn’t like eating food with strong smells before taping in order to prevent herself from having bad breath. Shanaia Gomez, meanwhile, avoids milky or dairy products since those tend to give her phlegm.National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab makes sure to eat before taking on the stage in order for him to gain the energy that he needs, but never lets himself be full. Similarly, Chie Filomeno reveals that she doesn’t overeat as well in order for her to not feel heavy while dancing onstage.
