“Hihiwalayan ko ‘yan agad”: Janine Berdin takes on the Red or Green Flag Challenge

<p>Janine Berdin got ‘kilig’ as she went through a list of relationship scenarios and analyzed them as either red flags or green flags.</p><p>In this episode, Kapamilya Chat asked the bubbly singer-songwriter to share her opinion about common romantic situations. The first one was about posting multiple photos of one’s partner on social media, which she considers a green flag, “Hindi ka niya kinakahiya. He’s proud to have you.” She clarified that the opposite doesn’t automatically make the relationship a red flag, as people may choose to be low-key. It simply depends on the couple’s personality.</p><p>Showing up at work unannounced sounds sweet to Janine, whose eyes sparkled in ‘kilig’ daydreaming about having a boyfriend who shows up at her gigs to show support. This can become a red flag, though, when it affects the other partners’ focus.</p><p>She thinks a detail-oriented guy is a walking green flag, “Ang cute no’n! Parang tine-treasure ka niya talaga.” But this can turn into a red flag when he remembers and keeps on bringing up even the smallest details of a previous fight.</p><p>Vulnerability is likewise a green flag, according to Janine, as it means the couple is emotionally ready and there’s trust between them. She’s in limbo about asking for passwords, saying it depends on the situation.  </p><p>Finally, talking about an ex all the time is a no-no for her. “Ay! Hihiwalayan ko ‘yan agad!
