Ivana Alawi gives away toys, cash to sick children in hospitals on her 26th birthday

The month of December is indeed a special month for Ivana Alawi because aside from being able to spend more time with her family since it’s holiday season, it is also when she celebrates her birthday. And days after their celebration, she gave us a glimpse of what happened during her special day in the latest vlog that she uploaded on her YouTube channel.The vlog commenced with a clip of her family waking her up on the morning of her birthday by singing their best version of the “Happy Birthday” song and having her blow (or fan, rather) the three candles on her delectable birthday cake.She and Mona then proceeded on opening her birthday presents from some her friends, endorsements, manager Perry Lansigan, and their family. Mona gave her a Harry Potter-inspired sweatshirt, a small plant, bath bombs, and three more items with butterfly designs on them – a birthday card, a tumbler, and an organizer. Her Mama Fatima jokingly gave her a tub of graham cake that she placed in a paper bag of a luxury fashion brand, while her brother Hash gifted her a travel neck pillow and promised her a Steam Deck that was still being shipped according to him. Their eldest sibling Amira, on the other hand, gave her an eyeshadow palette.Ivana may be the one who celebrated her birthday, but it was her who gave away gifts. And for this year, she decided to help sick children being taken care of at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center and National Children’s Hospital by giving toys and Php 5,000 each to 50 kids. She and her team might not be able to distribute those presents personally to the kids, but it was her who enthusiastically bought and wrapped the toys.The 26-year-old actress and her family just had a simple and intimate celebration of Christmas and her birthday at their abode. They feasted on their beloved Mama Alawi’s saucy spaghetti and leche flan, as well as the seafood salad, beef caldereta, baked salmon, cochinillo, and shrimp and crab on their table spread. Members of their family and their household angels also had one tub of fruit salad, too!Belated happy birthday, Ivana! May you continue to be a blessing to your family and the people around you.
