Janine Berdin unleashes her ‘hugots’ in Fill In The Blanks Challenge

<p>The charming and bubbly Janine Berdin showcased her poetic side as she took on Kapamilya Chat’s “Fill in the Blanks” Challenge.</p><p>In this game, the 21-year-old singer-songwriter must complete the given ‘hugot’ statements about love. The first sentence was, “Masaya kiligin pero,” which she finished with, “Hindi naman lahat nagco-commit.”</p><p>What’s her take on taking risks? “Mahirap magtiwala pero minsan kailangan talaga nating tumaya.” And, about people giving someone false hopes? “Masakit umasa pero hindi naman lahat paasa.”</p><p>Just so you know, these fill-in-the-blank statements weren’t rehearsed, yet she was so quick to think of ‘hugots’ expressed in a creative manner, like when she said, “Hindi maiiwasang masaktan pero paano mo malalaman kung magwo-work kung hindi mo pagbibigyan?”</p><p>“Masarap magka-jowa pero masarap din maging single.” Hear, hear!</p><p>Asked about her ‘pero’ on having many friends, she answered, “Masayang magkaroon ng maraming kaibigan pero mas importante pa rin na you surround yourself with people who truly know who you are.” Quality over quantity, she said.</p><p>The game was infused with monologues about dreams as well, with Janine imparting, “Mahirap abutin ang tagumpay pero worth it siya.” That’s why she mentioned that it’s important to remind yourself what you’re doing your hard work for. And in times of burnout, you may take a pause and recharge by doing what you love.
