Their real-life romantic relationship may be long over, and they’ve been navigating life and showbiz in separate ways, but Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, collectively known as “JoshLia,” are back to bring kilig, joy, tears, and heartbreak to everyone through their latest movie together, “Un/Happy For You.”

For Joshua, we should first mull over the reason why we have to do it, as well as our resolution to the problem, before apologizing. Because he believes that in that way, we will be able to completely set forth everything that we want to express.

Meanwhile, Julia conveyed that it’s necessary to acknowledge the mistake you committed and the pain the other person felt because of it. She also reminded that we must be sincere once we do it, since, for her, the best apology is when you really mean it.

One of the things that many of us struggle to do is surprise our loved ones on special occasions. Thus, Julia told guys out there to do their best not to be caught since there are people whose instincts are so keen. When Joshua asked if he was good at surprising her before, she affirmed it by recalling an instance when he surprised her with a romantic Valentine’s date at her house.

Joshua, on the other hand, advised that it’s important to know first what your partner likes, particularly the little things they probably didn’t expect you to notice, because they will certainly appreciate it. Just like when he hired a group of kids to serenade Julia as his way of proposing to her to be his date in an edition of the ABS-CBN Ball, after he remembered her mentioning how much she likes kids.

With regard to their way of showing trust to their special someone, the Kapamilya actor said that it’s important for him that his partner updates him whenever they’re not together, as well as to be just confident that they will not do anything wrong while you’re away. And lastly, when it comes to how to tell your significant other that you’re jealous, Joshua admitted that he has always been straightforward, which astonished Julia. He confirmed that he’s no longer the jealous type, unlike before, as he now fills himself with trust towards his current partner and has realized the negative impact of jealousy.

Contrarily, Julia said that she doesn’t tell her current boyfriend that she is jealous, compared to how she used to be open with Joshua before. Thus, Joshua advised her that she has to let her partner know how she truly feels in order for him to establish a boundary with the person who causes her to feel that way. Julia clarified that it’s not entirely selos, but discomfort in the situation.
