Kaori Oinuma and Jeremiah Lisbo take a moment to get to know each other even better. In a lighthearted conversation, they asked each other fun and unexpected questions, revealing a little more about their personal lives.

The conversation began with Kaori asking Jeremiah when he last felt kilig (that giddy feeling of excitement). Jeremiah chuckled and shared that it was earlier that morning when his mom made him some champorado. Kaori, with a grin, mentioned that she had seen it on his Instagram story.

In return, Jeremiah asked Kaori when she was late to something. Kaori confidently responded that she’s never late to her schedules. Her punctuality, it seems, is a point of pride.

The questions shifted to their work as love team on “Halfmates.” Kaori was curious about what Jeremiah thought he’d enjoy most about the show. Jeremiah said he looked forward to working with the talented cast, particularly Kaori and Karina, with whom he already had a strong bond. Their connection, both on and off-screen, seems to fuel the chemistry in their roles.

Next up, Jeremiah asked Kaori what her go-to dish is when she cooks for herself. Without hesitation, she answered, “Oyakodon,” a traditional Japanese chicken and egg dish that she loves. For Jeremiah, his comfort food during rainy days is anything with “sabaw” (soup), whether it’s bulalo or sinigang, as long as it’s warm and comforting.

Their conversation touched on family, with Jeremiah asking Kaori where she would like to take her mom if she had the chance. Kaori chose Singapore, explaining that it’s a convenient destination for her mom, who doesn’t enjoy walking around too much due to her age.

When asked what piece of advice his mother gave him that stuck with him the most, Jeremiah shared a simple yet profound mantra: “One at a time.” A reminder to take life step by step, something that seems to ground him.

The mood lightened again when Jeremiah asked Kaori what lesson she learned from her last relationship. Caught off guard, she laughed and said it was a little too personal but responded with a heartfelt, “Wala ka namang dapat pagsisihan. Kahit binigay mo ’yong lahat, at least you learned your lesson.”

As things got bolder, Kaori playfully asked Jeremiah if he was ever ttracted to her. With a smile, Jeremiah answered that what he admired most about Kaori was her beautiful heart, adding, “Sobrang bait nito, ‘wag n’yo lang gagalitin.”

Lastly, when asked what she would do if she had 10 million pesos, Kaori’s answer showed her generous spirit. Without hesitation, she said she’d share it with everyone in need.

If you can’t get enough of the KaoMiah kilig, tune in to their newest series "Halfmates" on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel every Tuesday and Friday at 5:30 PM!
