As iWantTFC’s newest offering Tara G! finally premiered last October 7, the digital streaming platform also launched the “Tara, G! Kape’t Kuwentuhan” series on its YouTube channel, wherein its stars talk about their personal lives off-cam. And for the second part, its stars Kaori Oinuma and Daniela Stranner’s turn to share their inspiring and relatable stories to us.

She may have portrayed characters that are exuberant and adorable, but unbeknown to us, Daniela, who plays the bratty and crabby Cars, went through a lot of lowest points in her life before getting to where she is at present. She started off by imparting how her mom used to be very strict towards her, since it was only her who was left under her care after her siblings had their own lives and families.

As she considers herself unintelligent and non-achiever in school, she confessed that she had never seen her mom proud, until she entered show business. She may used to have a tough time then that almost made her give up, but her motivation to give back to her beloved mom motivated her to keep going on. It may not be her dream to be an actress, but she eventually fell in love with what she’s doing and grateful that blessings and projects keep coming her way.

And amidst the great things that are happening to her career, Daniela got involved in a scandalous controversy, which she believes is the lowest point of her life. She refused to talk about it in detail, but she tearfully imparted how the bashings and snide remarks she read online about her really took a toll on her and her family. She felt like all the things that she worked hard for had already gone, as well as the people who have been there for her no matter what.

“’Yong pinaka nagpalala po do’n was how I reacted to the situation. Dinamay ko ‘yong mga taong wala naman akong narinig sa kanila. Wala akong narinig maski isang word, yet may nasabi akong marami tungkol sa kanila,” she related.

These pushed her to the point that she wanted to give up, but it was her goals in life and for her family that stopped her from doing so. Her mom may have also received backlash because of her wrongdoings, yet she’s the one who was constantly there by her side. That’s why she’s thankful to her, as well as her dad who always checked on her especially during those trying times.

Going back to the set with her castmates had their hands open to welcome her back indeed helped her bounce back. ABS-CBN may not have tolerated what she did, but it also didn’t abandon her as it gave her the help and support she needed.

Meanwhile, Kaori, who portrays “Legs”, looked back to the time when her former loveteam partner and co-star in the 2021 Star Cinema flick “Love at First Stream” suddenly went missing in action. It truly saddened her, considering that they’d been friends ever since they started in showbiz through their Pinoy Big Brother Otso stint.

“Nakakalungkot.

It was truly painful for her, yet she had no choice but to accept it since she knew to herself that it’s impossible for her to push things to happen according to how she envisioned them to be. Thus, she accepted his and the management’s decision for them, and she decided to just have a brand-new start.

And she’s grateful for the support that her co-stars, particularly Team WISE (or Walang Iwanan Sa Ere), have given her, which allowed her to move on, learn new things, and gain new experiences as she went on with her career. She also shared that her current on-screen partner JC Alcantara has been her and their “happy pill” throughout their lock-in taping.

That heartbreaking experience and the good things that has been going on in Kaori’s life at present, she and her castmates JC and Anthony Jennings were able to deduce that things really happen for a reason, that there are people who we are only destined to meet but not end up with, and that better things are surely yet to come.

Watch out also for new episode of Tara G! every FRIDAY, 8PM, on iWantTFC!
