<p>It’s the time of the year again when our social media feeds were filled with lengthy posts recapping the remarkable things that we’re thankful about the year that has passed, sharing our resolutions, and expressing our excitement towards the new opportunities and memories that we’re going to have in the new year.</p><p>And as 2023 started, some of our favorite celebrities rang in this brand-new chapter for all of us by sharing their wishes and goals along with the stunning pictures of them or that they captured on Instagram, which we collated in this Kapamilya Snaps feature!</p><div><strong>Dimples Romana looks forward to slower days and more time with sons</strong></div><p>There’s definitely no doubt that the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/THEIRoNHEART"><em><strong><u>The Iron Heart</u></strong> </em></a> actress is at her busiest in the recent years. Apart from starring in a series of teleseryes, Dimples also had a lot of things going on in her personal life. Thus, it’s not a surprise that she will want to have slower days in order for her to spend more time with her sons Alonzo and Baby Elio.</p><p>She was also able to capture the first sunset of 2023 through her home office and captioned that post, “I hope today, on the very first day of the year, you got to love yourself deeply. You are worthy and deserving of the best kind of love.”</p><div><strong>Elisse Joson remains strong and faithful amidst personal woes</strong></div><p>Her 2023 might have started rocky, but Elisse doesn’t the struggles she is going through at present hinder her from being ready for the future by drawing strength from her daughter Felize and her unwavering faith, as well as from being happy on her 27<sup>th</sup> birthday last January 6.</p><p>She quoted Jeremiah 29:11 in the caption of one of her New Year’s Eve post, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”</p><div><strong>Jodi Sta. Maria prays for abundance in every aspect of her life</strong></div><p>Jodi also turned to her faith as she entered the new chapter surrounded by her beloved family.</p><p>On her New Year’s Day post, which was a family picture of them taken during their latest trip in Japan, she wrote, “Remind me of your presence in the days to come even when I feel pushed and rushed by busyness. The same I pray for the one reading this today. May the New Year bring us an abundance of amazing opportunities, beautiful moments, growth from challenges, and joyful experiences.”</p><div><strong>Iza Calzado brightens up the new year with beauty and love</strong></div><p>She may be already in the latter months of her pregnancy, but there’s definitely no doubt that the first-time mom-to-be was indeed glowing in the two photos of her that she uploaded on Day 1 of 2023, through which she sent her love and blessings to everyone.</p><p>Iza sincerely penned, “May you see, fell, embrace and embody your power. May you use it to fulfill your purpose in every sacred moment. May this new year bring forth peace, joy, love and light for you.”</p><div><strong>Jake Cuenca aims to take more risks in acting </strong></div><p>As he starred in a series of TV and big screen projects in 2022, Jake considered it as a re-introduction of what he can do as an actor. So, this 2023, he plans to further reach for the stars.</p><p>The <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/THEIRoNHEART"><em><strong><u>The Iron Heart</u></strong> </em></a>actor stated, “The goal for 2023? Is EDGE work to PERFORM to the BEST of my capabilities. Let’s go 2023 more risks no limits never playing it safe.” He also imparted the most valuable and unforgettable career advice he’s ever heard, which was from veteran character actor Leo Martinez.</p><div><strong>Richard Gutierrez looks ahead to the future as he stays focused and motivated in the present</strong></div><p>With the chain of opportunities that have gone his way in the recent years, the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/THEIRoNHEART"><em><strong><u>The Iron Heart</u></strong> </em></a>main actor is looking ahead to the future, but is also staying focused and motivated in the present.</p><p>“Here’s to the experiences that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold. We thank 2022 for all the life lessons, the ups and downs, wins and losses. They are all blessings. We don’t go through life, we grow through life. Wishing you all a prosperous and blissful 2023,” Richard wrote in the caption of his New Year’s Day post.</p><div><strong>Janine Berdin has nothing but gratitude and excitement in her heart</strong></div><p>Two days before 2022 ended, the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/asap"><em><strong><u>ASAP Natin ‘To</u></strong></em></a> regular shared an entry off her journal from December 30, in which she expressed how utterly lucky and grateful she is for everyone surrounding her who helps her attain her dreams in life.</p><p>Janine enthusiastically penned, “Dami kong pangarap, nakakaexcite, kinikilig ako araw-araw. Every day I feel closer to achieving them.”</p><div><strong>Maxene Magalona wishes to work on her self-control this year</strong></div><p>After going through tremendous struggles in her personal life, Maxene shared that she wants to work on her self-control this year. She also reminded us to “take time to cleanse, to heal, to renew, to grow, to become.”</p><p>Maxene elaborated, “This year, I hope and pray to be more in control of myself and all the things that are in my control rather than wasting my energy on things that are completely out of control.”</p><div><strong>Jane Oineza is ready to take on new adventures with beau RK Bagatsing</strong></div><p><em>Kilig</em> was indeed in the air for Jane as she celebrated the holidays with her beau, RK Bagatsing. Based on their IG post, they welcomed the new year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jane implied in the caption that they are ready to begin their next adventure.</p><div><strong>Jane de Leon will not only fly, but is also ready to dive into 2023</strong></div><p>There’s definitely no doubt that 2022 is the most unforgettable year yet for the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna"><em><strong><u>Mars Ravelo’s Darna</u></strong></em></a> star. Heaven described 2022 as her “awakening” and conveyed that she’s ready to keep growing and gain more experiences in life this 2023.</p><div><strong>Dawn Chang poises herself to thrive in 2023</strong></div><p> It seems that Dawn is going to be fiercer and bolder in this brand-new year as she declared in an Instagram post, “I’m done surviving. 2023 is all about thriving.” And the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna"><em><strong><u>Mars Ravelo’s Darna</u></strong></em></a> actress depicted by uploading a stunning photo of her in an orange dress.</p><div><strong>Charlie Dizon is both excited and staying in the moment for this year</strong></div><p>With all her breakthroughs in the recent years, Charlie looks at 2023 with huge excitement in her heart and eyes. However, Charlie reminded herself to still focus on “staying in the moment”.</p><div><strong>Kim Chiu is, above all, thankful for all the blessings she has received</strong></div><p> Just like many of us, Kim is also looking forward to start doing her new year’s resolution.
