As constant partners in acting projects since 2019, former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza have had an intimate grasp of each other’s secrets. A best friend knows you to the core, right? So, let’s learn a thing or two about KarJon as they spill trivia bits about each other in this fun and kilig “bukingan” game.

“Alam n’yo ba,” Karina got the ball rolling, stealing our attention with that juicy gossip she was about to reveal. “Si Aljon, gumagaling nang kumanta,” she said, to which he reacted, “Talaga?” She replied, “Sabi nila.” In a past Kapamilya Chat interview, Aljon disclosed that he was taking voice lessons, and it’s a big help in boosting his confidence especially since they also record songs for their shows.

Karina further shared that Aljon had a great time during their “Hoy Love You” shoot in Batangas, “Alam n’yo ba si Aljon, natuwa siya nu’g ‘Hoy Love You’ namin sa mga paswimming-swimming niya, sa mga pa-snorkelling niya du’n.” This only affirms all the fun behind-the-scenes stories we’ve heard from the other “Hoy Love You” cast members.

Meanwhile, Aljon sounded like a supportive BFF as he talked about Karina’s business venture during the pandemic, “Alam n’yo ba si Karina, gumawa siya ng business nu’ng pandemic na beads and frame. Tapos bumili ako sa kanya ng isang frame.” And it’s good to know that the art piece he bought from her remains on display in their family home’s living room.

He further shared that she owns a French Bulldog, which, according to her, is named Billy.

The next revelation lets us in on their off-cam dynamic: “Alam n’yo ba dati, nu’ng kiniliti ko si Karina sa taping ng ‘Sandugo,’ kinurot niya ako dito [sa braso], bumaon at nagpeklat,” although she denied the “nagpeklat” part. This prompted her to comment, “In fairness gumanda skin mo ngayon,” followed by more cute asaran.

Lastly, she divulged that they used to play the card game Tong-its.
