LA Santos and Kira Balinger just gave us the sweetest episode of Kapamilya Chat yet, thanks to their natural chemistry. Watching them made us realize that one of the things that keeps them so perfectly matched is their shared sense of humor and how effortlessly they care for each other. There were so many fun discoveries and heart-fluttering moments from the tandem in this episode, especially during the tic-tac-toe segment that you’ll want to watch over and over again!

This is the tic-tac-toe game we’re all familiar with, but with a twist. Before marking the board with an ‘X’ or an ‘O,’ they had to answer a question first. Well, they turned the game into a pick-up line showdown, and you could really feel their genuine closeness through their answers.

Kira was almost in tears right at the start—not because the game was tough, but because of a question that hit her right in the feels: What would she say to LA if it were the last day on Earth? Her answer? “See you soon.” Their friendship is so strong that they’re certain they'd meet again in the afterlife, like soulmates. She even said, “In every other life, hahanapin kita.”

LA was totally caught off guard, reacting with, “Panis ako do’n, ah!” (because that line was so smooth). He didn’t hold back when it was his turn, either. He said there’s only one thing he’d tell Kira: “I love you.”

But he wasn’t about to let Kira win the showdown! When asked what he wanted the two of them to do together, he hit us with the perfect ‘banat’: “Gusto ko magkasama kaming tumanda.” Boom!

On a more serious note, he shared that he would love to do another movie with Kira after their current big-screen project, “Maple Leaf Dreams,” which was filmed in Canada and centers around the lives of two young OFWs. So, if “Maple Leaf Dreams” was shot in the “Great White North,” where would they want to film their next film if they had the chance? They counted to three and answered in perfect sync, “Japan!”

And speaking of places and what they'd want to do together, they both answered where they’d like to go on a date, if ever. LA, being an animal lover, thought a farm or zoo date would be fun and exciting. On the other hand, Kira, with her aesthetic-loving, vibe-chasing personality, said she’d love to go café-hopping, prompting LA to respond in jest, “Ipagtitimpla kita ng kape, at mas makakatipid pa tayo.”

LA didn’t hold back on the sweetness! When asked what gift he’d give Kira, he smiled and said, “Puso ko.” Awww! In return, while Kira didn’t go for a cheesy line, her answer was just as full of love—she’d give him a toy because she knows he’s recently started collecting them.

You can really see how much she cares for her on-screen partner, especially when asked what traits she likes and dislikes about him. Starting with what she’s not a fan of: LA tends to be too hard on himself. As for what she admires most? His humor—something she easily matches, as seen in their fun back-and-forth!

Things got interesting when LA pulled a question about a lie he once told Kira that he still hadn’t confessed until now. He laughed before recalling the early days of their friendship when, wanting to impress her, he told her, “Mahilig ako magbasa ng libro,” even though he doesn’t. Kira burst out laughing but admitted she eventually figured it out, realizing LA is more into mobile games than books.

Meanwhile, Kira couldn’t help but gush, “Diyos ko, Lord,” when she got a question about which body part of LA’s she finds most attractive. Although shy at first, she picked his lips, saying they’re so plump that she sometimes gets a little jealous!

This really has to be the most heart-fluttering episode of Kapamilya Chat. To wrap things up perfectly, they tackled the questions they hadn’t yet asked each other. Kira, with all the charm, asked LA, “Will you be mine?” And then, LA responded with real, heartfelt affection, saying, “Pwede ko na bang makuha ang matamis mong ‘oo’?”
