And for its opening salvo this 2022, its gregarious host DJ Jhai Ho caught up with singing champion Lyca Gairanod to talk about her latest single “Malapit Na Akong Mahulog Sa Iyo”, as well as how she celebrated New Year’s Day and her controversial birthday alongside veteran journalist Karen Davila.The episode commenced by Lyca giving the viewers a sample of her newest song, then they proceeded with the kumustahan, wherein she imparted what her and her family had during the media noche. Lyca compared those by commenting that the former was more painful as it tackled breakup, while the latter was about slowly falling in love with someone. She also sang her most favorite line from her latest single.Since it’s inevitable for people her age to not fall in love, the host asked for a piece of advice that she could give to those who are struggling to confess their feelings to the person they admire. As someone who’s straightforward, she disclosed that it’s easy for her to expresses how she feels towards a person. Thus, she advised that it’s better to ‘fess up and accept whatever the outcome will be than regret not saying anything to the person you like.As she’s noticeably blooming and happy right now, DJ Jhai Ho couldn’t help but ask if there is someone who currently bring butterflies in her stomach.
