McCoy de Leon recalls the first time he saw Elisse Joson and more memorable ‘firsts’

McCoy de Leon went on a little throwback adventure as he played the Kapamilya Chat Firsts Challenge.

In the game, McCoy will have to answer questions about his ‘firsts’, starting off with his first overseas trip, which was to Singapore for a family vacation, “Kasi mahilig dati mag-hotel ‘yung mom ko tapos naisipan namin magbakasyon sa Singapore.”

Did you know that he and Elisse Joson met prior to PBB? McCoy said they had a brief appearance in a basketball league in Bataan where Elisse was the muse and he was the escort. “Nagandahan talaga ako sa kanya no’n. Iba ‘yung ganda niya, ‘yung tipong ‘pag naarawan, sobrang puti,” he looked back. However, he was so shy then and he only got comfortable around her while inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.

Remembering his other ‘kilig’ firsts, he mentioned he had his first girlfriend in Grade 6 while he got his first taste of heartbreak in high school.

McCoy used to perform in theatrical plays in school influenced by his parents, who were both thespians. Those were his first on-stage performances.

The first K-Drama he fell in love with was “Miracle in Cell No. 7.”

Asked the first recipe he mastered in the kitchen, he settled for ‘adobo,’ which is a less embarrassing answer than ‘tocino’.

McCoy learned to be provident at a young age, thanks to his parents’ example. That’s why he couldn’t think of any mindless splurge in the past, especially since his parents handled his talent fee when he was just starting out. Recently, though, he bought a new camera, which can be considered an investment for influencers like him.

From there, he was asked about the first person who inspired him to be better and we’re not surprised he thought of his parents. Don’t you think he’s a walking green flag?
