Sylvia and Ria rate each other as 'naughty' or 'nice' in relationships and gift-giving

For many of us, the true essence of Christmas is togetherness. This proved true in the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/kapamilya-leading-ladies-and-heartthrobs-got-viewers-smitten-with-abs-cbn-christmas-2022-appearances-18670">recent ABS-CBN “Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa” Christmas Special 2022</a> where Kapamilya artists assembled to treat viewers with spectacular, heartwarming performances while enjoying each other’s company.Among the brightest Kapamilya stars present in the two-night show are mother-daughter Sylvia Sanchez and Ria Atayde, who also bonded backstage via ‘Paskulitan’ activities.In this behind-the-scenes video, Sylvia and Ria played the “Naughty or Nice” Challenge in which they had to decide whether or not they deserve to be on the nice or naughty list based on specific descriptions.For instance, in the first round, they were asked to rate each other as gift-givers. Ria said her mom has a “nice” track record of being generous. In fact, most of the appliances in her new house were from Sylvia.Sylvia likewise considers her daughter a “nice” gift-giver, saying Ria’s gifts are very personal and reveal how much she cares. The most thoughtful item she received from Ria is a photo blanket, which she brings to tapings.Next category: relationships. Ria candidly described her mom as “mapagpasensya” and “martir,” although she can be fierce when needed. “May sungay din naman. Lahat naman tayo may sungay na lumalabas ‘pag kailangan. ‘Pag kailangan magalit, lumalabas.” That being said, Sylvia certainly belongs to the “nice” list.Meanwhile, Sylvia divulged that Ria is so nice in her relationships that she has to be constantly reminded to leave something for herself. “Binibigay lahat. Sinusuko lahat. Kaya sinasabihan ko siya talaga, ‘Magtira ka para sa sarili mo.’ Kasi sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Hindi ka kasintapang ko,’” to which Ria jestingly replied, “’Kala mo lang.”Sylvia then reacted to Ria’s love life with Zanjoe Marudo. “Kaya ko pino-post kasi… mabait si Z. Marespetong bata and gustong-gusto ko siya.” To recall, it was Sylvia who revealed in an interview last October that Ria and Zanjoe are dating.It’s indeed going to be a happy, love-filled holiday season for Sylvia and Ria, and their family. And they wish Kapamilyas a Merry Christmas as well.
