<p>The summer heat may be scorching, but it couldn’t stop us from taking on outdoor adventures and going on relaxing vacations. Since there is actually a plethora of beautiful occasions to choose from around the Philippines, it can actually be kind of difficult to decide where to go next, right?</p><p>And just in case you’re still planning your next destination and itinerary, or still can’t travel anytime soon because of certain reasons, you may want to check out the 2023 local summer destinations of our favorite celebrities in this Kapamilya Snaps feature!</p><div> </div><div><strong>Janella Salvador marked her 25<sup>th</sup> birthday in Palawan</strong></div><p>Instead of organizing a lavish party following her 25<sup>th</sup> milestone birthday last March, Janella opted to go on a quick getaway to Palawan with her <em>unico hijo</em> Jude, along with some of her family and friends including her <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna" target="_self"><em><strong><u>Mars Ravelo’s Darna</u></strong></em></a> co-stars Kira Balinger and LA Santos. She shared a few snaps on IG that showed not only the beauty of El Nido, but of her sexy mom bod and snake tattoo, too!</p><div> </div><div><strong>Donny Pangilinan had a fun beach day with loved ones in Cebu</strong></div><p>He might not have written any caption in his post about his trip to San Remigio, Cebu with his family and friends last Holy Week, but we could see through the smiles of Donny that he indeed had so much fun. Aside from simply swimming in the clear blue waters and basking in the summer sun, their bunch, which included Sofia Andres and her partner Daniel Miranda, also did various water activities, rode the ATV, and seemingly had a drinking session by the shore at night.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Richard Gutierrez went on a quiet escape to Mountain Province and Palawan with his family</strong></div><p>Whenever he’s not busy with <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/theironheart" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>The Iron Heart</u></strong></em></a>, Richard usually spends time with his wife Sarah Lahbati and their sons Zion and Kai. And apparently, they choose to spend their time together by going on quick getaways, such as when they went camping in Mountain Province last March and lazing around Palawan early this May.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Jennica Garcia showed off her mom bod during her vacation in Zambales</strong></div><p>Her schedule may get hectic as she has to juggle her mom duties and working on <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/dirtylinen" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>Dirty Linen</u></strong></em></a> but Jennica makes sure to still find time for herself and friends by going on quick beach trips, wherein she gets a chance to break-free a bit and show off her beautiful body. Just like what she did during their taping rest day for <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/heres-what-franseth-jennica-co-stars-revealed-so-far-about-upcoming-series-fractured-19268" target="_blank"><strong><u>Fractured</u></strong></a>, which is being shot in Zambales, as well as during her getaway in La Union last March.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Catriona Gray went to Batangas to officially become a certified open water diver</strong></div><p>It seems that Catriona is unstoppable in adding feathers in her hat as she’s now a certified open water diver, too. The beauty queen commenced the month of May by sharing some pics taken from her and fiancé Sam Milby’s short yet sweet and productive vacation in Batangas. According to her Instagram post, it was Sam who planned the trip, writing: “[Sam] finally found a way to get me away from work for enough days after nagging me for years to get my divers license.”</p><div> </div><div><strong>Darren Espanto spent the Holy Week in Batangas with family and friends</strong></div><p>Taking a break from being D’ Total Performer, Darren “spent some time enjoying God’s beautiful creation” during the Holy Week. Aside from his family, he also got to share that fun vacation with his celebrity friends and fellow Kapamilya stars Piolo Pascual, Kyle Echarri, and Ria Atayde with her family. But what made us more delighted was when he shared a clip of him hanging out with Cassy Legaspi and her family, and even having a duet with her mom Carmina Villarroel.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Chie Filomeno sizzled in her swimsuits during her vacation in La Union</strong></div><p>Chie indeed made summer extra hotter and wilder as she flaunted her flat abs through her sizzling swimsuit snaps during her recent vacation in La Union. The sexy actress-dancer also shared photos and videos of her with her brother Rio and two Pomeranian dogs, as well as other random stuff she captured on cam.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Bela Padilla fell in love with Bohol and now calls it home</strong></div><p>Her home for now may be the United Kingdom, but Bela has found herself fallen in love with Bohol during her solo trip there last March. She wrote in the caption of her post: “I’ve found a new island to love and call home.” As a solo traveler, the actress-filmmaker also revealed that she would ask strangers to take her photos and videos, such as hotel staffs and local tour guides.</p><div> </div><div><strong>JC Santos and his family decided to relax and recharge in Palawan</strong></div><p>Last March, the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/dirtylinen" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>Dirty Linen</u></strong></em></a> actor and his wife Shyleena and daughter River went to Coron to have their much-needed rest and relaxation. These photos from JC’s Instagram posts showcase the breathtaking crystal clear blue waters of Palawan that’s truly perfect for their family bonding experience.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Ogie Alcasid and his family spent the Holy Week in Palawan</strong></div><p>The OPM icon took a break from his busy schedule to have some quality family time with his wife Regine Velasquez and children Nate and Leila. The four of them spent a few days in the gorgeous Amanpulo in Palawan. The powdery white sands and calm waters definitely looked relaxing, which made Ogie utter: “[Napakaganda] rito. Sobra.
