Vilma Santos flexes shades collection in latest vlog

Aside from her award-winning dramatic chops and admirable personality, another thing that the Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto is known for by her ardent supporters is her evident love for handkerchiefs and scarves, which are apparently fashion staples for her.

However, not many of us arguably know is that she also has a collection of sunglasses, which she showcased in her latest vlog.

She started off by divulging how her every trip wouldn’t be complete without her bringing at least a pair of shades or a bottle of perfume. According to her, her collection of sunglasses is a mix of signature brands or cheap pairs that she just bought because she likes them, which she keeps in two huge plastic storage boxes.

The award-winning actress was actually wearing one of her favorites which was a bright red one, and eventually took it off as she showed and tried on the other sunglasses she has. She owns pairs from famous luxury brands, with some she has not worn yet, as well as those she purchased for only a few dollars and from online stores.

Vilma also showed off some of her favorites that she used to wear often back in the day, but decided to give it a rest since it has gone passé. Of course, she didn’t forget to boast the pair of shades with velvety frame that her husband, Batangas 6^th District Representative Ralph Recto, gifted her, as well as glasses that never failed to catch the attention of the people she meets whenever she wears it.

The groovy 69-year-old veteran actress then presented the pair of spectacles that she described as “memorable”, since she wore it in the 2016 Star Cinema film “Everything About Her”, which she co-starred with Angel Locsin and Xian Lim.

Aside from simply being a part of her OOTDs, the former politician also utilized her some of her shades during her campaigns when she was still running for various offices in the past two decades. But instead of wearing shades in dark tints, she opted to put on specs that have lenses in lighter colors and smaller frames in order for people to see still see her face.

Vilma capped off the vlog by teasing that she would showcased in her next upload some of her perfume collections and thanking everyone who watched this episode and joined her for a little virtual chitchat. In the last portion of the vlog, a clip of her trying on other specs neatly placed in two protective cases.
