FPJ’s Batang Quiapo: Netizens express sympathy for Camille, amused by Roda and Noy's antics

<p>The episodes of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank"><u><strong>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</strong></u></a> in the previous week (October 2 to October 6) indeed brought us to a rollercoaster of emotions as those were packed with action and drama, with a tinge of romance and comedy. </p><p>Last week’s happenings commenced when Mando (Allan Paule) headed to Lena’s (Mercedes Cabral) house to check on her and bring her something to eat after she had to go home early that day because she was not feeling well. Much to his shock, he caught her and Rigor (John Estrada) having an intimate moment.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2828575"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>Distressed, Mando simply paid a visit at the Dimaguibas and caught Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) waiting for Rigor outside. He handed to her his supposed pasalubong to Lena and consoled her by saying that she should not worry since her husband just have to go overtime at their office. As soon as Rigor arrived home, Marites asked Rigor why he went home late again. But instead of uttering a response, the latter belligerently told her to stop asking him any question.</p><p>That same night, Bong (Vandolph Quizon) and his group finally executed their assassination attempt on Congressman Sevilla (Jong Cuenco). Unbeknown to them, he actually had a meeting with another politician who unexpectedly brought a huge platoon of bodyguards with him. Although one of his members asked them to backout since they were undermanned, Bong still insisted that they push through with their plans. They failed, unfortunately, with Bong and a few members of his group getting heavily wounded. </p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2830130"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>After the riot subsided, Tanggol’s (Coco Martin) friends were immediately rushed to the hospital.  Even though he didn’t initiate the riot and his only intention was to exact revenge at their ruthless inmates who attacked his friends, Tanggol was still sent to the isolation cell along with another friend Ben (Mark Lapid). He expressed his remorse on not being able to protect his friends since they wouldn’t be there and suffer that way if not for him. He’s also willing to accept any punishment that would be given to them if that would make his prayers for their safety would be heard. </p><p>The following day, Tindeng (Charo Santos) and Rigor once again had a heated argument as the former castigated him for telling everyone in their household that nobody is allowed to visit Tanggol in jail. A disagreement then ensued between Tindeng and Marites as the latter reprimanded the former for once again making Rigor angry.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2830129"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>When they were the only ones left at home, Camille (Yukii Takahashi) and David (McCoy de Leon) also got into a dispute after she prodded him to tell her who he’s texting. But he refused and pushed and slapped her hard out of his annoyance towards her. </p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2831586"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>While the Batang Quiapos were already at the recovery room, except Oweng (Renz Joshua &quot;Little Giant&quot; Baña), Bong and some of his members who were wounded from the previous night’s failed mission were rushed to the hospital, too. Meanwhile, Chief Espinas (Jaclyn Jose) ordered Jail Warden Colonel Balatucan (Robert Seña) and Jail Lieutenant Macasantos (Lao Rodriguez) to just include those who died to the fatalities during the riot. </p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2830125"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>With the failure of Bong and his troops to accomplish their mission, Chief Espinas is already resolute to tap Tanggol to be their new hired killer. Thus, she asked Bubbles to guide Tanggol on their first-ever mission together and ordered for him to be brought out of the isolation cell.</p><p>Seeing how much Alberto (a.k.a. Ramon, Christopher de Leon) unconditionally loves her so much within the time that they’ve been together, Mokang is determined to return it and make their marriage last, even though their relationship got off on the wrong foot. It seems that she has already learned to love him back, as what she told her best friend Chicky during their conversation over the phone.</p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2831594"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>Mokang started showing her appreciation to her husband by arranging a little surprise for him, wherein they had their first-ever dance as husband and wife, which didn’t happen because of the chaos that transpired during their wedding.  </p><p>Meanwhile, Roda (Joel Lamangan) was still worried about where he’s going to live now that he lost all his assets due to the fire that engulfed his house. Thankfully, the barangay captain reminded him regarding the agreement that he used to have with Marsing (Pen Medina), which stated that their house would be his once they failed to pay their debts back. Thus, Roda instantly went there to inspect it and woefully accepted his fate. </p><div><ivs-player data-ivs-key="06b9cac5decc13edae3497a22831561a" data-ivs-spid="3001384" data-ivs-vid="2833107"></ivs-player></div><div><script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div><p>Chief Espinas reprimanded Tanggol for getting himself involved in the riot after hailing him as his newest trustee. He explained that he only did it for his friends, which she absolutely understood. As he asked her regarding the condition of his friends, Oweng was seen having seizures on his hospital bed. </p><div><strong>Comments from netizens</strong></div><p>Going through the tweets of some of our Kapamilya netizens who were able to catch the previous episodes of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" target="_blank"><u><strong>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</strong></u></a>, it seems that many were gigil over the father-and-son tandem of Rigor and David anew. </p><p>As what we’d seen, Rigor continues his extramarital affair with his comrade Lena and acts as if he’s a morally upright man when in front of his family and his colleagues. And his favorite son David is apparently following suit as he also has his own paramour, while also pretending that he’s a scrupulous young man and son.</p><p>Even though cheating is truly detestable, what we kind of like about Rigor was he never laid his hands on Marites in their quarrels. Unlike David, who manhandled Camille even though she’s already pregnant. And instead of apologizing to her, he even warned her to keep her nose out of his personal affairs. Arguably, viewers would agree that that particular scene showed the promising dramatic prowess of rising actress Yukii Takahashi.</p><p>We also got irked by Roda a little because of how he has remained crabby and arrogant in spite of his plight, but that was downplayed by his amusing antics that really made us laugh. What happened to him is a great reminder for us that what goes around really comes back around.
