Kapamilya Spotlight: Lovi Poe’s memorable appearances in ABS-CBN through the years

<p>She may be the daughter of the one and only “King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe Jr., but Lovi Poe is able to create her own mark in the entertainment industry. Ever since her showbiz career took off in 2006, she has been unstoppable in exhibiting her potentials as a multi-faceted artist.</p><p>Prior to her award-winning acting chops, the leading lady of the highly anticipated action-comedy series <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo"><em><strong><u>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</u></strong></em></a> was initially known for her sultry vocals. However, when the opportunity to become an actress was offered to her, she grabbed it despite the objection of her mother, former actress-model Rowena Moran. She spent 15 prolific years in her home network, wherein she’s able to showcase and further develop her skills as a well-rounded artist.</p><p>She went on to become one of its biggest stars, so it really came as a surprise when she transferred to ABS-CBN in September 2021. The Supreme Actress was warmly welcomed by the top executives of the media company through a special event fit for a royalty like her.</p><p>A few days later, she immediately had her <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/asap"><em><strong><u>ASAP Natin ‘To</u></strong></em></a> debut, in which she was able to show off her singing prowess through a production number alongside Erik Santos, Gary Valenciano, and Zsa Zsa Padilla. She was also greeted by other Kapamilya stars, such as Coco Martin, Iza Calzado, Janine Gutierrez, Paulo Avelino, Sunshine Dizon, Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Zanjoe Marudo, Jodi Sta.
